Chapter 2

Elsewhere in a hidden location,

“Hmm, so they seem to have noticed that the effects are kicking in” said Slade as he was sitting on his throne like chair watching monitors that displays medial charts of Starfire, Terra and Raven along with some screens of them inside of the tower.

“Time to spice things up a bit” said Slade as he took out what looks like a detonator and pressed it. The medial charts details on the screens of the girls were beginning to change dramatically. “Hope you lot enjoy my gift” said Slade as he watches the screen of with the girls on.

Back at the tower,

“This isn’t good is it?” asked Terra as she looked at the trouble the girls was in. “You can…say that again” said Cyborg weakly. Terra looks down and noticed that she was sitting on his chest. “Sorry…” said Terra as she tried to move out of the way but could move only a little, enough for Cyborg to breathe properly.

“Thanks…okay then, I do believe you three should be outside for the rest of the tests” said Cyborg as he stood and looked at the girls. “Huh…why?” asked Starfire as she looked at him. “If you haven’t noticed, you three can barley make it out the door and I would like it if you lot be outside before it’s impossible to move” answered Cyborg as he looks up at three girls that are now fifteen feet tall.

“We take the point” said Raven as she tried to move her way to the door. From that the other girls followed Raven outside. “Whoa…another growth spurt girls” said Beast Boy as he looks up at the three very tall girls walking past them. “Where they’re going?” asked Robin as he saw Cyborg walking out. “Outside, just in case if the three of them get too big to fit in the tower” answered Cyborg. “So…what did you find out then?” asked Beast Boy as he joined them.

Cyborg looks at the floor shook his head and said, “Basing on the readings I keep getting, the growth spurts are caused by something not of this world, it’s like it’s…” “Magic?” said Robin as he but in. “Magic…that’s Raven’s element, she may know something about it” suggested Beast Boy. “True, she may know but nothing on this level as you two would like to look at these readings” said Cyborg as he walked back into the room.

The other two followed and saw charts on the wall. “What are theses about?” asked Beast Boy as he looked at them. “I don’t know…but take a look at their readings before and after their growth spurt” answered Cyborg as he handed them two sheets. Robin looks at them and noticed that they’re just numbers. “These are?” asked Robin as he looked at him as he handed the papers to Beast Boy. 

“I don’t have a clue on these but you noticed about the numbers” said Cyborg as Robin and Beast Boy looks at papers again. “19 12 1 4 5 keeps on popping up everytime the growth spurts kicks in” said Robin as he noticed the same number appearing a lot. “And if you put that in alphabetic order, 19=S, 12=L, 1=A, 4=D and 5=E. Put that all together and what that spell?” said Cyborg.

“Wait don’t tell me…” said Beast Boy as he trying to sort out what it spells. “Slade” answered Robin. “I was going to say that” said Beast Boy as he looked on the floor. “Just what were theses numbers doing within the girls bodies in the first place?” asked Robin. “I’m not hundred percent sure, but these numbers seem to be imprinted inside their DNA when the lasers hit them and when the numbers go higher they get bigger” answered Cyborg.

“What’s the plan now then?” asked Beast Boy. “Well then, we got to go and find Slade, he might have a way to revert them back to normal. At the same time, Cyborg can find a way to remove the numbers from them” answered Robin.

“That sounds like a plan” said a loud female voice. The three of them look at the window and saw Raven looking through it. “Growth spurt?” asked Robin. “Correct” answered Raven. Cyborg looks back at the readings and saw the same numbers again. “Try that warehouse we were in last night” suggested Cyborg as he printed out the new readings.

“I very much think that he won’t be there” said Beast Boy. “But it doesn’t hurt to try now does it?” asked Terra as she moved to the window. “True, we may find some sort of clue on what it is that making the girls bigger” said Robin.

“Right then, you guys better get going then” said Cyborg, from that, the guys left. “So little friend, what are we to do then?” asked Starfire. Cyborg looks out of the window and could see all three girls looking through and answered, “Erm…it’s still your day off, try and relax” “Easy said than done, it feels like people are watching us” said Terra. “Please try to relax than while I’m looking for a way to reverse the growth spurt” said Cyborg. “Alright then, if you insist” said Raven as she walked off with the others following her.

Cyborg looks back at the readings and noticed that another set of new numbers appearing all over the sheet. The numbers were, 2 9 7.                      

Meanwhile with the guys,

Robin and Beast Boy made it back to the warehouse that they were in last night. “So what are we looking for here?” asked Beast Boy as he looked at the damage that made from their fight with Slade. “Any form of clues that may help us locate Slade or help the girls” answered Robin as he began to look for some clues. “Alright then” said Beast Boy as he turned into a dog and began sniffing for clues. Robin enters the room that he was in when fighting against Slade.

“So where are you Slade?” asked Robin to himself. Just then the monitors in the room began to show images of Slade sitting on his throne like chair. Robin looked at the monitors and saw Slade leaned towards the screen and said, “So you wish to find me Robin?” “Slade! Where are you?” asked Robin as Beast Boy entered the room.

“Robin, Robin…you just have to find me, fear not, I will even give you bread crumbs to follow. It’s up to you to figure it out” answered Slade as he shook his head. “And what crumbs is that?” asked Robin as he saw Slade sit back. Slade took out a detonator and pressed the button. The two of them saw the monitors go off and they were expected some sort of bomb to go off but noticed that there was no explosion.

“Huh? Is that it?” asked Beast Boy. “Don’t put your guard down, perhaps it wasn’t a bomb that detonator was for” answered Robin. “You know what…I have a strange feeling that I know what the detonator was for” said Beast Boy with a worried look.

Before Robin could ask, “Robin! Beast Boy! We got ourselves a huge problem” echoed Cyborg’s voice that came from Robin’s walkie-talkie. “What sort of problem?” asked Robin. “If you go outside, you can see what I mean” responded Cyborg. “Beast Boy, outside now!” ordered Robin as he left the room and headed out of the warehouse.

“Oh my…” said Beast Boy as he couldn’t believe his eyes. “Cyborg” said Robin through his walkie-talkie. “Yeah” responded Cyborg. “I see the huge problem…” said Robin as he looked at the city with the view of the girls being fifty foot tall, each of them walking through the city causing havoc.

“…What should we do now?”

Chapter 3

“Wha…you’re asking me what to do? What do think we gotta do!” answered Cyborg as he hanged up the walkie-talkie. With that, Beast Boy shapshift into a terrordactyl, grabbed hold of Robin and flew towards where the girls were.

Back with Cyborg,

Cyborg printed the results of the girl’s latest growth and found yet another set of numbers, which were, 7 9 18 12 19. “What the? What are theses about?” asked Cyborg to himself as looked at the past numbers. Cyborg took note to what the numbers were about and began looking for more numbers that may be within the results.

“Starfire!” shouted Robin as Beast Boy still in his terrordactyl form flew towards her. Starfire was just walking down the streets, scaring the citizens below as she stood on top of the cars, crushing them. “Get closer!” ordered Robin as he looked at Beast Boy.

From that order, Beast Boy flew in front of Starfire and noticed that she had a blank look on her face. “Starfire Snap out of it!” shouted Robin as he and Beast Boy were in her view. Starfire stopped walking and stood in front of them.

Robin noticed that her eyes were beginning to show emotions again. “Starfire?” asked Robin. Starfire started to blink and then looked around her and noticed that she was huge. She looked in front of her and saw both Robin and Beast Boy still in the air.

“Oh little friends…please rest on my hands” said Starfire as she placed her hands open for them to land on. Once landed, Beast Boy turned back to his normal form. “Are you alright Starfire?” asked Robin. Starfire looked at him and answered, “Yes I’m fine now but that last growth spurt…I felt like I was lost”

“Lost?” asked Beast Boy. Starfire nodded her head. Just then the sound of an explosion echoed behind Starfire. She looked back and saw Terra using her powers to lift building up into the air and toss them into the distance.

“Not good…come on!” ordered Beast Boy as he turned back into a terrordactyl and grabbed Robin into the air and flew towards Terra.

 As they reached Terra, they noticed that she too had the same expression as Starfire had. “Terra! Snap out of it!” shouted Robin as they made it to her face. Terra looked at them and stopped what she was doing and slowly her face showed emotion again. “Big friend are you alright?” asked Starfire as she stood up to her. Terra shook her head, looked at her and said, “Have you seen the seagull?”

“What seagull?” asked Robin as both he and Beast Boy landed in Starfire’s hands. “That seagull that I was following” answered Terra as she looked at him. As they were about to say anything else, Starfire noticed Raven by the Teen Tower.

“Oh no!” shouted both the guys as they thought that she was going to destroy the tower but saw that she just went and sat down on the bank. “Let us see our third big friend” said Starfire as she along with Terra walked towards the Tower to join with Cyborg.

An hour later,

“As you can see…the female team members have somehow grew at fifty feet tall and just and hour ago they were causing havoc across Jump City. As footage shown here, the leader of the Teen Titans along with Beast Boy flew over to two of the three girls and stopped them. As of this moment, we do not yet know what will happen if the giant girls will cause havoc again. Please stay tuned” said the woman on the news cannel.

“We can’t keep this secret anymore…we need to fine a cure soon” said Cyborg as he turned the television off and looked at the others.  “We still haven’t found a clue upon Slade’s whereabouts either” said Robin as he sat down on a stool next to an open window with Starfire looking through.

“Also little friends…I fear that if we get bigger we will no longer be in control of our bodies” said Starfire. “That was strange…perhaps Slade was controlling them” said Cyborg. “Hay don’t forget what Terra has said about the seagull” said Beast Boy.

“It’s properly nothing…you know like an illusion” said Cyborg as he looked at him.

Elsewhere in a hidden location,

“Hmm…interesting…just like what it said it would do. On to the main objective then” said Slade as he looked at the monitors that show all of the Teen Titans.

Slade took out a detonator and pushed it. He looked at the bio scans of the girls and saw them increasing in size a lot more than before.

Suddenly a bright red light flashed all through out Jump City, blinding them for a few minutes. As their sight came back, to everyone’s surprise Starfire, Raven and Terra grown to gigantic height. “Oh my…that’s not good” said Robin as he looked out of the window and saw that the girls towers over the Teen Tower as it’s now up to their kneels.

“Readings show that there’s a massive increase” said Cyborg as he looked at the monitor on his arm. “What should we do now?” asked Beast Boy as he noticed that the girls began to walk away into the distance.  “We should follow them, try to snap them out of it if they’re not in control” answered Robin.

“Titans move out!” ordered Robin as he downstairs and exit the tower on his motorbike. Beast Boy turned into a terrordactyl, grabbed hold of Cyborg and flew off towards the girls.

Chapter 4
 

Robin on his motorbike dashed all through the streets of Jump City towards Starfire. Cyborg with Beast Boy in his terrordactyl form flew high into the sky reaching to the top of the girls’ eye view. “Look how far up we are!” shouted Cyborg as he couldn’t believe the height the girls stood as he looked down.

As Robin was getting closer to Starfire, he noticed bright yellow light burst through the ground behind him. Cyborg and Beast Boy saw the same light as it sprung around the city. Robin stopped his bike and looked at where the light shun. As the light dimmed down, the whole area began to shake as if it’s an earthquake. To Cyborg and Beast Boy’s amazement, they saw the whole of Jump City being raised above ground.

Robin looked back at where Starfire was and saw that she wasn’t there; instead there was a huge gap where the city was ripped from the ground. He looked up and saw Starfire looking down at city as it was being raised to her eye level. “What’s going on?” asked Robin to himself. Just then, the sound of a seagull echoed above Robin, he looked up and saw it flew by him. Thinking back to what Terra said about a seagull, he decided to chase after it with his motorbike.

Cyborg and Beast Boy noticed that the city has been giving off a light yellow aura around it. They looked at Terra and saw that her hands where glowing the same colour. “Terra must be keeping the city afloat” said Cyborg. Beast Boy decided to head down to the city but was stopped when a boulder covered in black aura zoomed right by him. The two of them looked and saw the gigantic Raven with her eyes pitched black. “Not good” said Cyborg as he turned his hand into his laser cannon.

Echoing her infamous words, “Azerath, Metron, Zenthos!”, a dozen of boulders wrapped in black aura hovered behind Raven. “Not good...” said Cyborg. As Raven fired the first boulder, Cyborg shouted, “Move!” Cyborg began to fire lasers at the incoming boulders. With each boulder destroyed, more just kept on being fired at them, before long one of them hit them and caused Beast Boy to turn back at to his human self and the two to them fell into the city.

Robin followed the seagull till he spotted it heading towards a very tall building. He stopped when he saw someone walking out of the front doors. “Slade” said Robin as he got off his bike and dashed towards him.

The moment he got close enough to him, he palled out his staff and swung at him but was blocked by Slade’s staff. “My, my, so quick to anger” said Slade as he pushed Robin back. “Let them go, let my friends go” said Robin as he was about to attack him.

“Now why should I...after all, they my most powerful trump cards” said Slade as he was blocked each attack aimed at him. “They aren't yours to control!” shouted Robin. “Oh I do believe they are” said Slade as he clicked his right hand fingers.

All of a sudden, Robin felt a huge shadow cast down upon him. He looked up and saw a giant hand grabbed hold of him and was raised high into the sky. Yellow light burst around Slade's feet like a ring and started off slowly then sped up, the ground underneath him rose into the sky.

Robin opened his eyes and saw that it was Starfire that grabbed hold of him. “Starfire! Snap out of it!” shouted Robin as he was trying to break free from her grasp.

“Don't bother, your voice will no longer reach where she is” laughed Slade as he hovered in front of his face. “What do you get from all this?” asked Robin as he looked at him. “Robin, Robin...have you not learned what I want” Slade answered as he looked off into the distance.

“I want the world, to have the world, I need power...here allow me to show you my new power” said Slade as he looked up at Starfire. Slowly, Starfire with her free hand aimed her open palm into the distance and fired a Starbolt.

Robin watched at the Starbolt flew off into the distance, within seconds a huge explosion could be seen. “Do you now see my new power, with Starfire as my offences, Raven my defence and Terra my fortress holder, the fate of these girls are in the palm of my hands” said Slade as he looked at Robin.

“You never get away with this!” shouted Robin. “Oh...and who's going to stop me?” asked Slade.

Meanwhile elsewhere across the city,

“Ouch...” said both Cyborg and Beast Boy as they opened their eyes and saw that crashed landed inside a building. “What should we do?” asked Beast Boy as he stood up. “I don't know...I just don't know” answered Cyborg as he stood up.

Just then, they heard the sound of a seagull. They looked at the direction where the sound came from and saw a seagull sitting on the windowsill. Beast Boy thought back to what Terra has said about a seagull. Before he could anything, the seagull began to fly off.

“Hay wait!” shouted Beast Boy as he transformed into bird and gave chase. “Beast Boy! Where are you going!” shouted Cyborg as he rushed to the open window and saw the two birds flying off. Just then, Cyborg remembered about the recent numbers, he looked at the monitor on his wrist and the numbers  in two sets, the first 4 15 14 20, while the other was 3 18 25.

Cyborg began to remember the past numbers and begin to think of a way to decode it. He worked out it out as 2 9 7= Big, 7 9 18 12 19= Girls, 4 15 14 20= Don't, 3 18 25= Cry. “Big Girls Don't Cry...what does that mean?” asked Cyborg.

As Beast Boy was getting closer, he noticed that the seagull was giving off a red light which soon engulfed the bird, to him, the seagull looked a bird had out of fire and by magic, the seagull split into three birds.

Each one flew towards the girls.

Beast Boy looked up and saw the first seagull dived right into Raven's forehead. “ARRRRR!” screamed Raven as he placed her hands on her head. “What's going on?” asked Cyborg as was running down the streets and saw what the seagull have done.

“Slade...you pay for this!” screamed Raven as she began to look down upon the city to see if he's there. The second seagull dived into Terra's forehead and she too done the same thing. The yellow light around the earth that Slade was standing on began to fade away.

“Huh what the?” asked Slade as he was trying to keep balance. “It looks like two of your trump cards are gone” said Robin as he looked at noticed that Raven and Terra was acting on their own. “Wha...what's going on? Why aren't they...” said Slade as the third seagull dived into Starfire's forehead.        

Robin felt the grip that Starfire was holding him in has weakened as he was able to break free. “Hay Slade!” shouted Robin as he jumped out of Starfire's hand and whacked him off with his staff.

“Arr!” shouted Slade as he was falling. The moment that he hit the floor, he exploded. “What the?” asked Robin as he was climbing he way down by jumping between buildings. As Robin made it where Slade was, he saw that he was missing a few body parts along with wires hanging out.

From that moment Robin knew that the Slade that he was fighting has been an android. As he was about to walk off, Slade's mask swung open and saw a monitor with the real Slade on it. “So close...and yet so far. Better luck time” said Slade as a set of numbers going down appeared on screen.

Robin walked away at the moment that the android exploded again.

Just then, the whole of Jump City began to shake. “Robin! Robin, where are you!” echoed Cyborg's voice through the walkie-talkie. “I'm close to Starfire...what's going on?” answered Robin. “The whole city is falling!” answered Cyborg.

“What? I thought Terra was holding it?” asked Robin as he voice came from the walkie-talkie. “Well, you see...” said Cyborg as he looked at Terra in her normal height crying in the arms of Beast Boy.  “Terra's back to normal and I don't think she have the strength to safely bring us back” answered Cyborg as he could feel the gravity kicking in.

The city began to fall faster into the ground and when everyone thought they were done for, they looked up and saw that the city was wrapped around in a bubble of black aura. Slowly the city was put back in its rightful place, the bubble burst out.

“What happened?” asked Beast Boy as he opened his eyes and looked around him. “We're safe...it must have been Raven” answered Cyborg. “Where is she?” asked Terra as she noticed that she wasn't around. “sniff... I'm fine...I don't know why but I feel like crying” said a young girl's voice.

The three of looked towards the direction of the voice and saw Raven walking up to them wiping away her tears as she was shrinking back down to her normal size.

“I'm so sorry friend” cried Starfire as she burst into tears while picking Robin up. As she was crying, she was shrinking back to her normal size, which caused her to hug him. “Hay now, don't cry...big girls don't cry” said Robin as he was trying to cheer her up.

With that all of the Teen Titans gathered back together at the Teen Tower. Robin explained to everyone what Slade's plan was. With that, everyone felt that they were too tired to carry on and decided to go to bed.  

Meanwhile in a hidden location,

Slade sitting on his throne like chair, talking to someone on the TV monitor. “So...did you like it?” asked the unknown person. “It was interesting...that is all have to say about that” answered Slade as he looked at the person on the screen covered in shadow.

 “So...do we have a deal?” asked the unknown person. “You indeed kept you part of the bargain and so will I. It will take some time but I will find the stone that you're sealed in” answered Slade. “Good...and remember, next time choose a harder code to free you're victims” said the unknown person.

“Of course, after all this was only a test to see how the power of the stone will act, it had to be easy for them crack” said Slade. “You mean?” asked the person. “Correct...after all I like to play fair once in while” answered Slade.

“I see you then, Slade” said the person as the screen went blank. “Of course...I'm looking forward to the next we meet, Size Mater” said Slade as he stood up and walked off.            

The following morning,

The girls are all in the medical room still asleep until one of them woke up which was Terra. Terra looked around her and noticed Raven and Starfire lying on beds next to each other. Terra began to yawn as Beast Boy enters the room, pleased to see that Terra is all right. “Yawn…what am I doing in the medical room?” asked Terra as she rubbed her left eye.

Beast Boy began to explain to her on what was going on, as he finished explaining, Starfire woke up along with Raven shortly afterwards. “Hmm, I feel strange” said Starfire out loud as she put her left hand on her forehead. “Now that you mention it…so do I” said Terra as she put her hand on her stomach.

“That properly be with what ever it was that Slade done to you three is now gone” said Cyborg as he was in the room. “Or maybe you’re all are just hungry” joked Beast Boy as he smiled at them. “Let’s have breakfast” said Terra as she jumped out of bed. “That sounds like a plan to me” said Raven as she got out of bed along with Starfire. The five of them walk out of the room and headed towards the living room.

As they entered the living room which pleased Robin to see that the girls are all right. The six of them begin to make their breakfast meal, once made and served, Terra suggested that they should have a another day off and spend it at the beach again to relax. The others agreed to do so and got ready for their day at the beach once more.
