(Note: This story is based on a part of the Sailor Moon manga where Sailor
Cosmos is the strongest form of Sailor Moon and not a separate character).

It had been several years since the incident involving the Dark Moon Family.
Rini had forgotten all about her time spent as Wicked Lady, a foe that had
pushed Serena nearly to the point of self sacrific to stop her. However, with
Wicked Lady's defeat, her spirit had not been conquer. Up to this time, it had
lay dormant, a side of Rini that no one wanted to ever see again. However, it
was closer then anyone had expected.
It had been a nice day so far. At least until the Amazon Quartet attacked again.
Sailor Moon, Sailor ChibiMoon, and Sailor Mercury had responded to the attack
and now faced off against the villain left behind by the Quartet.
"Watch out!" Sailor Moon shouted. The creature attacked, hurling a beam of
energy at the scouts. Moon and Mercury managed to avoid it, but ChibiMoon was
unable to get out of the way fast enough. Struck by the attack, she was carried
backwards and crashed through the front window of a nearby store.
"ChibiMoon! Are you alright?!" Moon called.
"No time!" Mercury shouted, "We have to defeat that monster."
"Right." Moon said. Both soldiers hit the creature at the same time. The
creature couldn't take the hit and disappeared in a flash of light and smoke.
Meanwhile, ChibiMoon was unconscious after being thrown through the window.
Unknown to her and the other scouts, Zirconia, the leader of the Dark Moon
Circus, appeared inside. He looked at ChibiMoon.
"I have no idea what my queen finds in you little girl." He said, "But she was
quite eager to give this to you." He held up his hand, forming a ball of red
energy with what appeared to be a black flame roaring inside, before tossing it
towards ChibiMoon. As it approached her, instead of harming her, it simply was
absorbed into her body. On ChibiMoon's forehead, her usual golden cresent moon
symbol appeared, only to change into a black upside down cresent moon before
disappearing again. Zirconia then vanashed again.
ChibiMoon was soon awaken by Sailor Moon shaking her shoulders.
"Are you alright?" Moon said.
ChibiMoon pushed Sailor moon away. "I'm fine! Get away from me. It wasn't that
bad of an attack."
"But you were unconscious." Mercury said.
"I'm fine." ChibiMoon said, "Really."
------
Meanwhile, at the circus the Dark Moon Family called home base, Zirconia was
reporting to Queen Nehelania.
"It has been done as you ordered." Zirconia said, "But if I may ask, what was it
I did?"
"That scout contains within her the entity of a powerful member of the Dark Moon
family." Nehelenia said, "If that entity was released, she could bring about the
destruction of this city and pave the way for the darkness I require to escape
my prison."
"Who is this member?" Zirconia asked, "What power does she possess?"
"All will be known in time Zirconia." Nehelenia said, "With the energy you
implanted in that child, our new Dark Moon member will emerge the next time that
child has the urge to fight. All you need to do is concentrate your forces in
finding Pegasus, which you have failed so far in accomplishing."
Zirconia hid his face in embarassment. "My apologies."
------
Night fell upon the city. As Chibiusa got ready for bed, Pegasus appeared as
usual. But Chibiusa was too tired from the battle and their conversation lasted
only a few minutes before she fell asleep.
The following morning was a Saturday. As usual, Usagi sleep late, so Chibiusa
was awake first. After eating breakfast, she got ready for the day. But she was
surprised when Usagi trudged downstairs.
"Your up earlier then I expected." Chibiusa teased, "What's wrong? Up late again
talking on the phone?"
"Buzz off pipsqueak!" Usagi said, "It's not your business."
Chibiusa laughted and walked back upstairs.
About an hour later, Chibiusa was getting ready to leave the house to walk
around the city. As she left, Usagi walked out with her.
"Why are you coming with me?" Chibiusa asked.
"Because." Usagi said, "I have to keep an eye on you at all time. Who knows what
you might do to Darien while I'm not looking."
"What's wrong?" Chibiusa jeered, "Afraid I'll steal him away from you?"
Usagi glared at Chibiusa. "As if. He's mine."
"Wanna fight?" Chibiusa said, "I'll bet I can beat you in anything and win
Darien over to me."
"Bring it on!" Usagi shouted.
The two girls hadn't even left the front yard of the house. They stood glaring
at each other. It looked like at any moment they would pounce on each other.
Suddenly, the cresent moon on Chibiusa's forehead flashed. Usagi noticed it and
backed away a bit.
"Hey, what's with the mark on your forehead?" Usagi asked, "It looks different."
But Chibiusa didn't answer. Her eyes, normally red, were now completely bright
red. A black aura mixed with red flames began to materialize around her. Bolts
of blue electricity flashed around her. Only then, did Chibiusa speak.
"What?! What's happening to me?!" Rini screamed as the black aura collapsed onto
her, forming a black figure of Chibiusa. Her voice trailed off to silence.
Slowely, Chibiusa's form began to change, growing taller and taller. Soon, she
was the same size as Usagi, but then, she kept on growing. Her hair extended all
the way to her legs. Her chest grew. Her hands and feet elongated. And she was
still growing taller.
Usagi finally fell backwards, lying on the grass as she looked up. Finally, at a
height of about 300 feet tall, Chibiusa stopped growing. The black veil around
her body slowely fell, revealing her new body.
"Oh no!" Usagi said, "It can't be you again. Wicked Lady!"
Usagi now lay just a few feet from the red high heel shoes of Wicked Lady, a
villain Chibiusa had transformed into during her first visit when Wiseman had
captured and manipilated her. Wicked Lady was dressed in her typical black and
red dress. The side of the dress was open up to her thighs, showing off a lot of
her legs. She looked down on Usagi.
"Silly girl." she said, "It can indeed be me again. And this time, your city
will fall." She shifted her foot, easily crushing the brick wall in front of
Usagi's house. "Stay out of my way, and I may spare your life." She stepped into
the street and began walking towards the center of town.
Usagi lay in the ruined yard in shock. The grass was disrupted by a large brown
spot where Wicked Lady had stood and pulverized the grass into a muddy mess..
Finally, Usagi pulled out her communicator.
"G-G-Guys." she stammered, "W-W-We have a b-b-big problem."
------
Meanwhile, the city was in complete chaos as Wicked Lady walked down the
streets. Any cars in her way, occupied or not, were simply flattened beneath her
heels. She didn't care to even look where she stepped. But soon, she looked at
the ground as she walked, laughing as people fell beneath the soles of her
shoes.
Wicked Lady soon noticed some people who simply stood taking pictures. As she
walked up to them, several tried to run. Most fell, others didn't move at all.
They were too frightened to run. Wicked Lady smiled and evil smile as she
reached with one hand. But as her hand came close to one of the fallen men, she
pointed a finger towards him before plunging her fingernail into the man's back.
The man screamed in pain as Wicked Lady lifted her hand up to her mouth. The man
soon disappeared, still screaming, inside her open mouth.
------
Meanwhile, Usagi was still waiting for the other girls to arrive.
"I have to do something." Usagi said, "Or the entire city will be destroyed."
She looked at the crystal in her brooch. Using the crystal, she transformed into
Princess Serenity. But then, she forced the crystal to go into a type of
overdrive mode. Instead of using the crystal to attack, Princess Serenity
transformed again.
Usagi's hair turned a shade of whitish purple with her odango changing from
spheres into heart shapes. Her dress faded away, instead forming a new type of
sailor outfit around her body. A yellow orb with a wing on each side replaced
her usual brooch and appeared on her chest. Instead of gloves, the shoulders
formed yellow covers with wing designs on them. A white miniskirt with a rainbow
pattern on the front pleat of the skirt formed. A pair of white high heel shoes
with small wings on the back formed on her feet and a multi pointed star
appeared on her forehead.
Usagi had transformed into Sailor Cosmos, a legendary sailor even Luna knew
little about. Using her power, Sailor Cosmos called on the energy of the other
sailors. Although they were not able to see Sailor Cosmos, Ami, Raye, Minako,
and Makoto somehow knew what to do. They released their own energy, giving it to
Sailor Cosmos.
The star on Cosmos' forehead flashed red, orange, blue, and green, showing she
had received the power she needed. Her forehead flashed, enveloping her body.
Inside the veil of light, Sailor Cosmos began to grow as well. The orb of light
Cosmos was encased in grew along with her. Soon, as Cosmos reached the same
height as Wicked Lady, the orb of light vanished and Sailor Cosmos stood to her
full height.
However, the first thing she heard were screams. Sailor Cosmos looked towards
the street and saw several children trying to run away. It didn't take Cosmos
long to understand why.
"They must think I'm going to kill them like Wicked Lady has been doing." Cosmos
thought to herself. She crouched down, extending an open palm to the children.
Most of the kids backed away, but one brave boy climbed into her hand. Cosmos
lifted her hand to her face.
"Are you going to eat me?" the kid asked.
"Gracious no!" she said, Then, making sure her voice didn't hurt the boy's ears,
she said, "You have nothing to fear. I'm not going to hurt anyone. I'm here to
make things right." She gently lowered the boy to the ground before she stood up
again. After making sure the kids were alright, Cosmos turned towards the city.
She could see Wicked Lady destroying buildings. She frowned as she took one step
forward.
And stepped right on top of an empty car. It crunched loudly under her foot.
Cosmos was startled and lifted her foot up quickly. She looked down at the
mangled wreak of metal and noticed it HAD been a brand new, shiny red mustang.
She cringed when she thought of what the owner's reaction would be.
"Oh damn." Cosmos said under her breath, showing she still had Usagi's attitude.
She blushed when she remembered the children were still behind her. She walked
away, embarassed, using her hand to hide her face from the kids. This time, she
paid more attention to where she stepped.
------
Meanwhile, Wicked Lady was throwing downtown into chaos. A bus skidded to a stop
in front of her, only to get stepped on a few seconds later and squished flat
beneath Wicked Lady's high heel shoe, killing everyone inside.
"This city is pathetic." Wicked Lady laughted, "You really can't believe you can
escape me." She noticed a fuel truck in the road and kicked it away. The truck
crashed into a nearby building, exploding in a bright flash of fire and smoke.
Much of the building was destroyed along with the truck and it's driver.
Wicked Lady laughted again as she raised her hand. Then, a bolt of black
lightning shot out of her palm and carved it's way across the street, throwing
cars in the air and destroying them in large fireballs. People in the path were
simply blown apart.
------
Sailor Cosmos tried to get to Wicked Lady as fast as possible, but the chaos
already had the streets choaked with cars and people.
As Cosmos rounded a corner, she saw the only nearby street leading to downtown
was completely blocked with vehicles of all sizes. Cars, trucks, buses, any
vehicles you could think of, they were there.
"Excuse me." Cosmos said, trying to get their attention. "EXCUSE ME!!" She
shouted. Immediately, everyone in the street screamed even louder, thinking
Cosmos was another giantess bent on killing everyone and destroying the city.
They began running in an even bigger panic. Cars crashed into each other as
drivers tried desperately to get through.
"Oh dear." Cosmos said, "What have I done? Um, please excuse me. I have to get
through." Steadying herself by placing a hand of either of the boardering
buildings, she lifted a foot, trying to step over as many cars as possible. As
her foot neared the ground, instead of stepping onto the road, she pointed the
toe of her shoe and began pushing cars and trucks to the side of the road to
allow room for her to step on the road without squishing anyone. At times, some
cars were even actually under her shoes, although, thanks to her wearing high
heels, they weren't squished but instead just under a very dark place.
Unfortunately, pushing the cars out of her way with her foot caused cars to pile
up on the side of the road. Some people were trapped inside. But Cosmos didn't
have time to waste. And as she tried to move faster, she got careless.
A single car got missed and now the driver inside found himself a target for
Cosmos's foot. He jumped out of his car just seconds before Cosmos's high heel
shoe mashed his car into a flat metal pancake.
"I'm sorry sir." Cosmos said, just now noticing the car. Finally, after wreaking
dozens of cars and stepping on several more, Cosmos made it through the street.
Before her, she knew the rest of the vehicles were abandoned since she had
watched the drivers run for their lives. As such, they crunched loudly as Sailor
Cosmos walked right over the top of them.
------
Meanwhile, the sky had turned red due to dozens of fire burning across the city.
Wicked Lady's rampage continued through the streets. Cars were crushed flat
underfoot, buildings crumbled to dust, and people screamed in terror.
Some people were unfortunately turning into snacks as Wicked Lady scooped up
entire crowds of fleeing people and dropped them into her mouth, chewing the
mass to a paste before swallowing.
However, her rampage was about to be interrupted.
------
As she walked through the empty streets, Sailor Cosmos accidentily knocked over
a small building as her leg brushed against it. Thankfully it had been abandoned
long before. As she stepped into the destuction zone on the edge of Wicked
Lady's rampage, Sailor Cosmos couldn't believe what she saw.
The city before her was in ruins and burning. As she walked, Sailor Cosmos's
high heel shoes crunched already wreaked cars and debris from destroyed
buildings. She gasped when she saw dozens of people squished in the streets or
in their cars.
"This is terrible." Cosmos said, "And to think, Chibiusa is inside that evil
woman. How can I fight her?"
Putting her dilemma aside, Sailor Cosmos broke into a run across the desolate
ruins towards Wicked Lady.
------
Wicked Lady raised a foot as she prepared to squish a family of four she had
cornered. But just as her foot began to lower, Wicked Lady felt the ground
trembling. She looked up just as Sailor Cosmos lunged at and collided with her.
The two women crashed to the ground and rolled away, flattening cars and
reducing entire small buildings to rubble. After regaining themselves, they
stood up and faced each other.
"Well, look at you." Wicked Lady said, "I must say this is an improvement."
"Chibiusa! I know you're in there!" Sailor Cosmos said, "Can you hear me?"
"She can't help you now." Wicked Lady said, "I'm in control. And I'm ready to
bring forth a world of darkness to release my master."
"World of Darkness?" Sailor cosmos said, "Master? What do you mean by all this?"
"I've said too much as it is." Wicked Lady said, "But right now, your pure white
clothing is ruining my darkness. I'll have to eradicate you."
Wicked Lady picked up a small truck and threw it at Cosmos. But Sailor Cosmos
easily caught the truck, crushing it in her hand. But it was just a diversion as
Wicked Lady fired a bolt of dark lighting at her. The bolt struck Cosmos in the
chest, knocking her backwards onto several more small buildings, demolishing all
of them in a cloud of dust.
Sailor Cosmos heard screams as she rolled over. Unfortunately, those screams
were soon cut off as Cosmos rolled onto her back before standing up again. Tiny
red dots, the squished people she had rolled on top of, stood out against the
white clothing of her leotard body suit. Sadly, Sailor cosmos couldn't be
careful and win this fight at the same time. If she wanted to win, she had to
fight without constraints.
Sailor Cosmos stood back up and faced Wicked Lady.
"I won't let you win!" Sailor cosmos shouted. She held up her palm and attacked
with an energy beam of light. Wicked Lady didn't expect the attack and was hit
by the attack. However, she remained standing but stumbled backwards until she
struck a building. The impact collapsed most of the structure around her feet.
But she laughted.
"Is that all you got?" Wicked Lady said.
Just then, Sailor Cosmos realized this part of the city wasn't as abandoned as
she thought. She could see entire crowds of people trying to run for cover.
Apparently, these were the people Wicked Lady had caught off guard with no
chance to escape. At least, no chance until Sailor cosmos showed up. She knew
she had to fight to keep Wicked Lady from seeing the people.
As Wicked Lady charged, Sailor Cosmos again fired a blast of energy. Wicked Lady
was only partially hit and managed to let off a bolt of dark energy a Cosmos.
Sailor Cosmos managed to evade the attack by stepping backwards. But as she did,
her high heel shoe smashed through the roof of a hospital, nearly destroying the
entire building.
"Oh no!" Sailor Cosmos said as she looked down at what remained of the hospital,
"I hope it was evacuated!"
"Are you trying to do my job for me?" Wicked Lady said, "At this rate, you'll
end up destroying more of this city then myself."
"I have no choice!" Sailor Cosmos said, "If it means defeating you and releasing
Chibiusa, I have to continue this fight!"
"I thought you were suppose to be the most powerful Sailor Soldier." Wicked Lady
taunted, "But it seems like your no better then any second hand Sailor to me."
Sailor Cosmos growled in frustration.
"But wait." Wicked Lady said, "You can't use your full strength on me since I'm
using to body of your precious Chibiusa again right? Hm, what to do?"
Wicked Lady picked up a large twin trailer tanker truck, fully loaded with
gasoline. She turned it over in her hand, looking from it to Sailor cosmos with
an evil grin on her face. Then, with her other hand, Wicked Lady formed a small
fireball and held the truck in the fire. It didn't take long for the entire
truck to be engulfed in the fire.
Sailor cosmos held her ground, knowing what Wicked Lady had planned, but was
terrified as she looked around. If she dodged the attack, the truck would
definitely kill dozens of the people trying to escape behind Cosmos. And she
couldn't hit the truck away with her staff as it could set off the explosion, or
the truck could land in the city elsewhere and explode.
But if the truck hit her, the resulting explosion could knock her down, killing
anyone she landed on top of. Wicked Lady must've know this too, because she
laughted out loud.
"Since you can't risk hurting me, I leave you with a choice!" Wicked Lady
shouted, "Them! Or yourself! Which will you save?! Take this!" And she threw the
burning truck straight at Sailor Cosmos.
The truck looked like a comet as it flew through the air. Sailor Cosmos twirled
her staff and held it in front of her body in a defensive stance. The burning
truck collided squarely on the pole of the staff and exploded in an enormous
fireball. Sailor cosmos was knocked off balance. As she fell backward, Sailor
Cosmos looked behind her in anticipation.
Trying to regain her balance, Sailor Cosmos stepped backwards. her high heel
shoe squashing a bus completely flat, unfortunately killing everyone inside.
Dozens of cars swerved to avoid her footsteps. Thankfully, no more cars fell
under her feet.
Then, still off balance, Sailor Cosmos began to fall towards a line of
buildings. But as she did, she intentionally allowed her body from her waist up
to fall on top of several buildings at once. As she landed, the top six floors
of each building pancaked onto each other, one on top of the other. Everyone in
these floor was crushed flat in the rubble. But amazingly, the rest of the
buildings remained standing. As the cloud of dust settle, Cosmos slowly sat up,
still sitting on top of the buildings.
"Most clever indeed Sailor Cosmos." Wicked Lady said, "Using more buildings to
bear your weight instead of flattening one completely. And with minimal lose of
life."
"This fight is between you and me." Sailor Cosmos said, "You have no right to
bring these innocent people into it."
"Of course I do." Wicked Lady said, "I'm the evil one. Your the goodie-goodie
fighting for justice. If I can't beat you in a fair fight, I need to make it
unfair."
Sailor Cosmos stood back up, the buildings crumbling as she got up.
"If she's going to keep playing unfairly, then I have to end this fast." Sailor
Cosmos said to herself, "More people might die, but at least I can end this
fight."
Sailor Cosmos and Wicked Lady exchanged a few more energy attacks before Sailor
Cosmos began to push Wicked Lady back. It wasn't long before the two girls
stepped out from the towering buildings and into the burning remains of the city
park.
Free from endangering innocent people, Sailor Cosmos was able to attack in more
force.
"Take this!" Cosmos shouted. Her staff lite up and a blast of energy was shot at
Wicked Lady, this time, much larger and more powerful then any blast Cosmos had
unleashed thus far. Wicked Lady couldn't get out of the way fast enough but
jumped aside anyway. The blast caught her in the side and blew her across the
park. She crashed to the ground a slid across the park, toppling trees like
matches and scattering park equipment all over the ground.
The explosion of the attack sent up a mushroom cloud like that of a nuclear
blast and with nearly the same amount of power. The park was reduced to a
smoldering crater, the buildings lining it scorched and charred. One building
was even so damaged it collapsed seconds later.
Sailor Cosmos walked up to Wicked Lady, who was now barely conscious.
"Chibiusa." Sailor Cosmos said quietly, "I release you from your torment."
Sailor Cosmos touched Wicked Lady's forehead with her finger. Wicked Lady's
forehead shone brightly, the upside down cresent mark slowly beginning to fade
away. With the disappearance of the cresent mark, Wicked Lady suddenly flashed a
bright light that enveloped her. As the light faded, the scene was revealed.
Wicked Lady was gone. In her place stood Eternal Sailor ChibiMoon, complete in
her new sailor outfit. But she was still a giantess, but only half the height of
Sailor Cosmos now. ChibiMoon was exhausted and began to collapse. Thankfully,
Sailor Cosmoms caught her. ChibiMoon looked up at Cosmos.
"I feel better Sailor Cosmos." ChibiMoon said, "Thank you."
"Your welcome." Cosmos said, "Can you stand?"
ChibiMoon slowly stood back up. "Yeah, I'm ok now. But what about Wicked Lady?"
"I banished her to the farthest corner of your mind." Cosmos said, "As a part of
your emotions, she can never be completely destroyed. But she can be imprisoned
in your mind, making it far more difficult to be released again."
ChibiMoon looked around at the destruction they had caused as a result of their
fight.
"Hey Cosmos." ChibiMoon said, "Do you suppose we could tear down some of the
city now that were giants?"
Sailor Cosmos looked around. "Well, I guess they do need the old buildings torn
down to rebuild right? Let's have some fun."
Sailor Cosmos and Eternal Sailor ChibiMoon laughted as they playfully stepped on
the damaged buildings and bridges throughout town, destroying them to make way
for the crew that would soon rebuild the city. Cosmos' white high heel shoes and
ChibiMoon's white boots tore through damaged structures just as easily as when
they had been bitter enemies. Taller building were torn to pieces by their
strong hands and fingers.
This time however, they were very careful not to step on any survivors and
actually helped emergency crews get the injured to safety. Cosmos was especially
glad to hear that the hospital she had stepped on during the fight had been
mostly evacuated at the time, so casualties were limited.
Sailor Cosmos decided that she was definitely going to do her part to help the
people rebuid the city, no matter what the cost. As long as she could keep
ChibiMoon from destroying the untouched buildings too.
Meanwhile, Zirconia could only sigh as he made his way to Nehelania's chamber to
tell her of the failure, yet again.
