Ikuko's Big Day

(BiggerBetterBarbie)

NOTE from author: I'm aware of the pretty major continuity error that Chibiusa should not have known Usagi's secret identity of Sailor Moon until after the Black Moon Sisters (namely Calaveras and Petz) have been healed. I apologize for that as I intended this story to take place in the S era, but wound up throwing Calaveras and Petz in during my typing rush as I felt they could play a major role behind the monster in the story. It would be too much to go back an rewrite an entire section, so just pretend for this story only that Chibiusa found out Usagi's secret identity much earlier than what happened on the original anime! ^_____^

It was a hot and sunny day for the country of Japan today. Still, that didn't stop the pink-haired girl known as Chibiusa from putting the finishing touches on another one of her potions. The glass bottle had tape wrapped around with the writing, 'DON'T DRINK! GROWTH POTION!' Chibiusa smiled as she looked down at the bottle full of purple liquid.
"Teehee! Another growth potion finished! I can't wait to drink this after school… it'll be fun to be giant again!" Chibiusa said.
"Chibiusa! Hurry up! We're going to be late for school!" Usagi shouted from downstairs.
"Alright, I'm coming!" Chibiusa said as she got up and left the bedroom, leaving the growth potion behind on the nightstand.
Chibiusa came running down the stairs and then slipped her feet into her red dress shoes, all while she was getting berated by Usagi.
"You little brat! Don't you know what time we're supposed to be leaving by now!?" Usagi shouted.
"Ah, who cares? You're always late anyway." Chibiusa said as she briefly stuck her tongue out.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Usagi said. As the two went walking out the front door, Ikuko Tsukino waved them goodbye.
"Be careful, you two, have a good day!" Ikuko said as the door slammed shut. The blue-haired woman brushed her light green shirt with long sleeves and then the rest of her white and orange dress. Then she sighed, realizing she was all by herself in the house. Shingo had already left for school, Usagi and Chibiusa just departed, and Luna was spending the day with Mina and Artemis (at least according to Usagi). And of course Kenji was out working. This really and truly left Ikuko to her lonesome.
"(sigh) Well, might as well get to house cleaning. With everyone gone, there's no better time than now!" Ikuko said.

A couple hours later, Ikuko figured out quickly how hot today was as she wiped more sweat coming down her forehead.
“Whew… sure is a warmer than usual day. I wonder why that is? The weatherman said this is something that couldn't be predicted. Oh well, I just have to tough it out." Ikuko said with a smile. She was dusting off almost anything she could lay eyes on in the living room, and then she set her sights on the staircase.
"Well, I better do Usagi and Chibiusa's bedroom next. Who knows what kind of mess that place is in…" Ikuko said as she stepped up the stairs one at a time with her red slippers, eventually walking into Usagi's bedroom. It wasn't too messy, but there were still a couple things laying around and the bed hadn't been fully made.
"Oh, Usagi. Same as always. Oh well, she's still my lovely daughter." Ikuko said as she walked over and fixed up the bed. She also picked up the stuffed dolls that were sitting on the floor and placed them on the bed, then she finally got to dusting off anything she laid eyes on in the room.

Eventually, Ikuko turned her attention to the nightstand, where a bottle of purple liquid immediately caught her attention.
"Oh? What's this?" Ikuko asked. She looked down and spotted the bottle, picking it up and looking around every square inch of it. She then noticed the white colored tape with Chibiusa's handwriting on it.
"Don't drink? Growth potion? Hohohoho! Oh, Chibiusa, you have quite the imagination." Ikuko said. She next put the opening of the bottle against her nose.
"It smells like grape juice. Maybe that's all it is." Ikuko said. She was about to take a sip of the potion, but wondered what Chibiusa would say if she saw that someone had touched her drink.
"Well, it is a pretty hot day and I am getting thirsty. I can always make Chibiusa a whole gallon of grape juice later." Ikuko said. With that in mind, the nearly middle-aged woman tilted the bottle backwards towards her open mouth and downed the entire contents into her stomach.
"Mmmm… that tasted kinda good. Well, alright, back to work." Ikuko said as she resumed her dusting duties.

For the next few minutes, nothing out of the ordinary happened, but that was only because it took that amount of time for the growth potion to kick in. Ikuko didn't notice a chance until she walked over to a nearby bookshelf. She raised her eyebrows when she noticed she was just as tall as the bookshelf.
"Hmmm? I could've sworn this bookshelf was a foot taller than me… ow!" Ikuko said as she felt something bump the top of her head. When she looked up to see what it was, she was looking right smack at the ceiling.
"Wha… what!? The ceiling wasn't that close!" Ikuko said, suddenly feeling the need to duck down and rest on her knees. Despite that, the ceiling looked to be getting closer again. In fact, Usagi's entire bedroom looked to be shrinking right before her eyes. She dropped the rapidly shrinking duster from her hand and it fell onto the floor, getting crushed by Ikuko's slowly growing body (but of course, her clothes were growing with her).
"Oh my… I'm getting bigger! That growth potion was real!?" Ikuko shouted in amazement. Ikuko's sudden rise in height was the least of her concerns. Even as she moved to a fetal position, her growing body was pressing its way all around Usagi and Chibiusa's bedroom, knocking things down left and right and causing the walls and ceiling to break apart.
"Getting… too tight… I can't stay… long…" Ikuko said as she felt her free space running out rapidly. Finally, she couldn't hold out any longer. She pushed her back up against the ceiling and lifted it right out of the house. Her feet, covered in her red slippers, burst out of the bedroom and traveled downstairs into the living room, tearing that location apart next.

Meanwhile, the still sitting Ikuko opened her eyes after feeling her upper body able to move again. She watched as her house and subsequently the entire neighborhood shrunk before her eyes. Eventually her feet broke out of the house, leaving gaping holes all around the lower floor of the house. The growing lasted another minute until finally it stopped. Not much remained of the Tsukino household now. In its place was a 150 foot tall Ikuko, who looked around in shock and astonishment.
"Oh my! I'm gigantic!" Ikuko said. She then looked down at what little remained of her house, of which the damage only grew worse when even the smallest movements from her legs.
"Now how am I going to explain this to the insurance company?" Ikuko said. She tried gently pulling herself out from the remains of the house, but finally figured that would do no good and simply thrust her arms to the ground and used them to help herself to her feet. After brushing the debris off her dress, Ikuko looked all around the much smaller neighborhood.
"Wow… look how small everything looks." Ikuko said. Then she shook her head.
"Wait… this all has to be a dream. There's no way an actual growth potion really exists." Ikuko said. She moved one of her hands to her opposite arm and gave it a good pinch.
"OW!" Ikuko said as her voice echoed through the clear sky thanks to her enlarged size. The giantess took a look around and saw she was still towering over the neighborhood.
"Okay… maybe this is one of those long and elaborate dreams." Ikuko said, still not believing for a second that she really did grow to 150 feet tall, although the parked cars right by her slippered feet told her otherwise. She gently tapped the side of one of the cars with her shoe, and watched as it rolled onto its side with ease.
"Oops… I shouldn't have done that! At least there was nobody in that car." Ikuko said. She kneeled down and gently rolled the car back on all four wheels. She was thanking the stars there wasn't much damage on the vehicle.
Still, curiousity was getting the better of Ikuko. She couldn't help but wonder what other places looked like from her increased perspective, namely the city as she looked out in the distance.
"Well, while I'm still dreaming, I might as well see what the city looks like from up here." Ikuko said. With that, the giantess carefully walked down the road, watching her step to make sure no people or cars got crushed underneath her slippers, until she made her way into the city.

Meanwhile, Usagi and Chibiusa eventually went their separate ways as their schools were in different parts of the city. Chibiusa was casually walking down the streets… although she stopped when she heard booming sounds that were getting louder and louder. The ground also slightly shook with each boom. It was definitely enough for Chibiusa to almost lose her balance, grabbing a nearby street lamp to keep from falling down. Eventually, she heard the sounds of people screaming, with some of them coming her way.
"Huh? What's going on? They're running as if there's…" Chibiusa said, but then stopped talking when she looked up and saw why people were panicking. It was Ikuko Tsukino, towering over a group of buildings as she looked all around herself with curious looks on her face.
"Mama!?" Chibiusa shouted, shocked to see her present day mother at such a huge size.
"But how did she grow so big? She…" Chibiusa said, who stopped talking when she immediately figured out what would cause Ikuko to grow like that.
"Uh oh… she must've found my growth potion. *gulp* How am I going to explain this to her?" Chibiusa said. While she thought of what she was going to say or do to the now giant Ikuko, Chibiusa started running towards the city block that she was walking around in.

As for Usagi, she was running (out of breath and muttering about why classes can't start until later as always) towards the open gate of the junior high school that she went to. To her curiousity, however, her best friend Naru was standing outside.
"Huh? Naru? What are you doing out here?" Usagi said.
"Mrs. Haruna hasn't come in, and apparantly neither have any of our substitute teachers, so they just let us walk around for the time being." Naru said.
"Wow… really? Why do you suppose that is… not that I'm complaining or anything like that." Usagi said with an innocent smile on her face.
"Hehe, you lucked out for sure! I heard them say there was some big traffic jam because…" Naru started to say, but the two ladies were interrupted by booming sounds that got progressively louder, plus the ground shook with each boom.
"Whoa… an earthquake?" Usagi said. Just then, Naru looked out in the distance and saw a familiar looking giant woman emerge from behind one of the buildings.
"What the!? Ummm… Usagi." Naru said.
"What is it?" Usagi asked.
"Isn't that your Mom?" Naru said. Usagi looked where Naru was pointing and was the next to get a good look at the 150-foot-tall Ikuko.
"Eeeeek! What the…!? That sure is." Usagi said.
"But how did she grow so big?" Naru asked.
"Ummm… I should go find out. Why don't you stay here and make sure Umino doesn't do anything stupid? I'll catch you later!" Usagi said.
"Huh? Usagi, wait!" Naru said, watching as her friend ran towards the city where Ikuko was walking around. Along the way, Usagi already figured who might be responsible for her present day Mom's growth spurt.
"Ooooooh… that little Godzilla wannabe, Chibiusa! I just know she had something to do with this!" Usagi shouted as she fought her way through the panicking crowd trying to keep up with the giantess.

As for Ikuko herself, she tried her best to keep her movements nice and slow, but it didn't make her feel any better seeing all the people scrambling to get away from her slippers or hearing the soft booms as each step sunk her feet into the pavement.
"Don't be afraid! I promise I won't hurt you!" Ikuko said. She later realized it was no sense trying to talk with these people.
"But I can't blame them. I know I'd run for the hills if a giant person came walking within 10-20 feet of me." Ikuko said. She looked around some more, first at the ground and then at the glass buildings she was surrounded by. She looked at her reflection in these buildings.
"At least I still look like myself and not some horrible looking lizard monster or something like that…" Ikuko said as she lightly patted her blue hair and then brushed her dress. She then leaned in closer to the glass buildings, looking inside and seeing people either pressed up against the glass (and then backing away) trying to get as close a look as they could to the giantess or scrambling away in fear. Ikuko couldn't resist waving hi to these people.
"Hello, everyone! You're very brave to be sticking around." Ikuko said. That's when got an idea.
"Oh! Maybe I can surprise Kenji like this. Hahaha… wouldn't that be something if he saw his beloved as a giantess?" Ikuko said. She took one step back, but then felt a thud and crunch underneath one of her slippers. She gasped fearing the worst, but she looked down and noticed she had stepped on the hood of a car that was apparantly trying to speed away. She watched as the driver and passanger, a man and woman, both opened their doors and ran away.
"Oh my… that was close! I could've seriously hurt or killed those people." Ikuko said as she lifted her foot and looked at the damage she caused to the car. She also noted the throng of people coming from the glass building entrance that were running around her feet.
"I must be more careful. To think that just one step could cause that much damage to that car…" Ikuko said with her worried hands touching her chest. Still, she took a deep breath and started walking again, taking each step slowly to make sure she didn't step on anything else. At the same time, she felt a sense of excitement as she thought about how her husband would react to seeing her so big.

Ikuko followed the roads as best as she could through memory, though her heightened perspective made that a bit tricky.
"Wow… the city looks so much different when you're a giantess!" Ikuko said. She tried to picture the roads she would normally drive around rather than tower over like she was now, but eventually she made it to another block and recognized one of the office buildings.
"Ah… there it is! The building where Nihon Living Magazine is headquartered." Ikuko said as she stepped towards the building. As she got closer, she could already see a handful of people coming out of the entrance panicking from seeing her so huge. Once Ikuko was at the base of the building, which was just a tad taller than she was right now, she reached down and picked up one of the gentlemen that tried to run to his car.
"EEEEEEEEEEK!!! Put me down! Please don't eat me!!!" the man said.
"Huh? I'm not going to eat you! You probably taste terrible anyways. I just need you to answer a question for me." Ikuko said.
"Anything! Anything if you'll let me go!" the man said as he wiggled around between Ikuko's enlarged fingers.
"Can you tell me what floor my husband is working on?" Ikuko asked.
"Huh? Your husband? You mean he's not as big as you?" the man said.
"Hahaha… yes, that's going to be my surprise for him. Now where is he? His name is Kenji Tsukino." Ikuko said.
"Oh, Kenji!? I think he works on floor 14, one of the Nihon Living floors." the man said.
"Thank you! You've been most helpful." Ikuko said. She then got down on her knees and gently set the man down on the road, allowing him to run off, although Ikuko did wave him off before he turned around.

Ikuko stood back to her full height, but leaned in forward as she scanned the middle of the building thinking that's where floor 14 would be. After about a minute of scanning, and watching people with different reactions to seeing her, she finally found Kenji. And she couldn't help but laugh when she saw him on the phone with his back turned to the window.
"Hohoho! Oh, Kenji, you weren't kidding when you said you were working hard." Ikuko said. That's when she started tapping the glass window with her fingernail. It was loud enough to make Kenji put the phone down and turn around, where he got a good look at the fingernail, but not yet Ikuko's face as it was being partially blocked by her arm.
"Yikes! What in the world!?" Kenji said as he leapt from his chair. Finally, he ducked when the fingernail finally broke through the glass window, shattering it to many pieces. By the time he looked again, he saw two of the biggest fingers he ever saw grabbing him from head to toe and pulling him out from the building.
"Nooooo! Let me go! Please let me go!" Kenji said. But when he was out of the structure and finally getting a good look at the giantess's face, he stopped panicking and had a more of a stunned and shocked look now.
"Hi there, sweetie!" Ikuko said.
"I…Ikuko!?" Kenji said.
"Yep! It's me! What do you think?" Ikuko said.
"But how? How is it even possible?" Kenji said.
"I saw this grape juice looking drink in Usagi and Chibiusa's bedroom, it looked like Chibiusa made it herself. She even labeled it 'growth potion,' and at first I thought she was just playing around. I took a drink… and here I am!" Ikuko said.
"Wow… but then again, I always felt there was something special about her. She does have that ball that floats around shaped like Luna's face." Kenji said.
"Oh well, to be honest, I kinda like it. It's fun being super tall." Ikuko said.
"I'll bet… but you haven't hurt anyone, have you?" Kenji said.
"Heavens no! I've been very careful, not just with people, but vehicles and buildings as well." Ikuko said.
Right as she pointed that out, however, Ikuko looked down and saw a series of police cars driving up and stopping a few yards away from her giant slippered feet.
"Oops… maybe I wasn't careful enough." Ikuko said.
"Or they're just doing their job." Kenji said. One of the officers came out of the front car and shouted up at the giantess.
"Stop right there! If you do not wish to be harmed, you will turn around and leave the city immediately!" the officer shouted.
"Oh dear! I didn't mean to cause you any harm, honest! I'll turn around and go away." Ikuko said. After putting Kenji on top of her right shoulder, letting him sit and hold on for the ride, Ikuko did exactly as told, turning around and walking away from the block. The officers all eased off on their guns and watched as the giantess walked away.
"Huh… that was pretty easy, chief." one of the officers said.
"Maybe it's because she's a responsible mother and not that giant pink-haired 8-year-old girl that tried to attack us a week ago." another officer said.
"Still, we should keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't cause any damage. Have air support continue to hover over her!" the chief said.
"Yes, sir!" one of the officers said as he and the others got back into their cars. Some cars drove off in the opposite direction, while others stayed a good distance behind Ikuko to make sure she lived up to her word.

The giantess walked slowly as she turned corner after corner, navigating her way through the city trying to reach its outer limits.
"Ikuko, you're not really going to leave the city, are you? They're just doing their job… looking out for the public and keeping their safety in mind." Kenji shouted up towards Ikuko's right ear.
"No, Kenji, they're right. Me being here at this size is pretty dangerous for everyone in the city. Look how easily I can crush things…" Ikuko said. She took notice of a parked car with both its doors open on the side of the street and lowered her slippered feet on it, crushing it flat like a tin can as its wheels popped off, the glass windows broke, and the car alarm sound faded out into nothing.
"Yeah, good point. Still, I know you'll be very careful. I see no reason to leave as long as you show everyone you're not a typical rampage-loving giantess." Kenji said.
"Teehee… I appreciate you saying that, sweetie." Ikuko said as she gently patted Kenji on the head with one of her fingers.
As she was turning the corner, however, she saw a group of people running in a different direction. Not only that, but there was a bright light shining from down the street.
"Oh? What is that bright light?" Ikuko said.
"Whew… sure is getting hot all of a sudden.” Kenji said as he wiped his forehead. Ikuko, despite her enlarged size, was doing the same thing.
“You're right, it's very warm here. Hey, I wonder if this is the source of the intense heat we've had today." Kenji said.
"Well, I shall find out." Ikuko said.
"Whoa… honey, don't you think the sailor senshi would be better qualified to investigate this?" Kenji said.
"Huh? Come on, sweetie… I'm a giantess! Whatever it is probably doesn't stand a chance with me around." Ikuko said.
"Yeah… good point, but be careful!" Kenji said as he held on with Ikuko going into a slightly faster walk as she approached the bright light.

Meanwhile, the bright light was actually coming out from a female looking monster made almost entirely out of fire. She shot fireballs on occasion at panicking citizens as her fiery light alternated between bright and dim. Watching from above as they sat atop one of the buildings were Calaveras and Petz, two of the Black Moon Sisters.
"Hahaha! Look at them all run so that they don't melt alive!" Calaveras said.
"Soon the sailor senshi will arrive and be toast… then we can find and take the rabbit all to ourselves." Petz said. Just then, the two ladies had to hold onto the ledge they were sitting on as they felt the ground shake a little bit with each second. The thundering booms were getting louder as well. Calaveras gasped as she glanced over to where the booms were coming from.
"*gasp* Petz, what is that!?" Calaveras said. She and Petz were looking at the giant Ikuko that was walking her way down the street and soon towering over where the monster was standing (also with a shocked look on her face).
"What… who is that!?" Petz said.
"What sorcery is this!?" Calaveras said as she looked over Ikuko from top to bottom.

Ikuko, meanwhile, stopped her walk about a few yards away from where the monster was standing.
"Oh, it's another monster!" Ikuko said.
"What!? Who are you!?" the fire lady monster said. Ikuko then had a determined look on her face as she folded her arms.
"So you must be the source of all this heat." Ikuko said.
"I am… now answer me! Are you one of the sailor senshi I was warned about!?" the fire lady monster said.
"No, but just like them, I am a giant warrior of truth and justice. In the name of stay-at-home mothers and housewives everywhere… I, Ikuko Tsukino, will punish you!" Ikuko shouted as she pointed down at the monster.
"Wow… that was very nice, Ikuko!" Kenji said.
"Haha… thanks! I guess I've been paying a lot of attention to Sailor Moon on the news." Ikuko said with a smile.
"Bah! You will not stop me no matter how big you are! Take this!" the fire lady monster as she lit up her fiery body to its maximum brightness. The light was so intense, even the giant Ikuko had to shield her eyes. Kenji also shielded his eyes, but was just able to see something important that would help his supersized wife out.
"Ikuko! There's a fire hydrant right by your left foot!" Kenji said. Ikuko looked down past her arm and saw the aforementioned hydrant.
"I'm on it, sweetie!" Ikuko said. Calaveras and Petz, both wearing shades that protected their eyes from their own monster's light, could already sense what the giantess's plan was.
"You idiot! Get out of the way!" Petz shouted. But it was too late. Ikuko's swift kick to the fire hydrant knocked it off the ground and caused water to come shooting out from beneath the surface. Much of the water rained back down on the ground and hit the monster, where every drop of water caused it to cry out in pain as its fire started to dissipate.
"Nooooo! I hate water!" the fire lady monster said as she collapsed to the ground and tried to fight off the water. She also watched as the giant Ikuko inched her way closer and closer.
"Please! Spare me!!!" the monster shouted. Despite water hitting her dress, Ikuko had her sights focused squarely on the monster.
"You won't be a menace to the city anymore!" Ikuko said as she lifted one of her slippered feet high into the air. When the monster looked up and saw nothing but the bottom of one of Ikuko's red slippers, she did the most logical thing.
"Eeeeeee…!!!" the monster screamed before her voice was cut off as soon as Ikuko slammed her foot on the ground.

When she lifted up her foot, there was nothing left but a crater shaped like the bottom of her slipper except gray dust. There was also a green colored jewel with a black crescent moon, but it too eventually faded away into dust.
"Wow! Way to go, honey! You defeated that monster all by yourself!" Kenji said. Ikuko then gently picked up Kenji from her shoulder and held him in her right hand.
"Yep, I sure did. Of course, I couldn't have done it without this magnificent size." Ikuko said.
"And you probably looked good doing it. See the news helicopter up above?" Kenji said as he pointed up to the sky where a helicopter adorning the logo of a prominent Japanese TV station was flying in the air.
"Haha! Hopefully they showed me crushing that monster… it will show that I'm not one of those evil giantesses." Ikuko said.
"So what are you going to do now?" Kenji said.
"Hmmm… maybe you and I can go out and have an early dinner?" Ikuko said with a smile.
"Heh… it's going to have to be a biiiiiiiig dinner for you!" Kenji said.
"But it will still be romantic, wouldn't you agree?" Ikuko said as she cradled her tiny normal-sized husband against her chest.
"Whoa! With a hug like that, I won't disagree!" Kenji said.
"Now let's see, I should be able to recognize the roads that will take us to that restaurant." Ikuko said. Once again, with Kenji firmly in her hands, Ikuko gently walked down the roads, making sure not to crush any innocent citizens or vehicles along the way… although some citizens cheered the giantess as she passed by, thanking her for crushing the monster and saving them.
Calaveras and Petz, meanwhile, were none too pleased watching the giantess walk away from atop the building they were standing on.
"Arrrrgh! How dare she spoil our plans!? We should capture her and turn her to our side." Calaveras said.
"Not so fast, sis. We need to report this turn of events to Rubeus. He'll know the right move to make." Petz said.
"Ugh… okay, fine. Still, he's not going to be thrilled that we failed to conquer the city AND find the rabbit again." Calaveras said.
"I just hope he won't think we're pulling his leg by saying a giant thirty-something woman crushed our monster to death." Petz said as she and Calaveras crossed their arms with annoyed looks on their faces. Eventually they both teleported out of the city and no doubt headed back to their base.

Meanwhile, Usagi was doing her best to keep up with her supersized mother. Eventually, though, she felt herself bumping into another person.
"Hey! Watch where you're going, meatball head!" a young female voice said. Usagi looked down to see it was Chibiusa she had bumped into.
"Chibiusa! What are you doing here!? Shouldn't you be at school?" Usagi asked.
"Well, I'm here no doubt for the same reason you are… because Mama's so incredibly big!" Chibiusa said.
"Ooooooh… you little brat! You're the cause of all this, aren't you!?" Usagi shouted. Chibiusa knew there was no hiding it. Only with her magic was it possible to make potions (or ray guns) that made whoever drank it bigger or smaller.
"Yes, I did it. I made a growth potion and left it in our bedroom. She must've found it and drank it, and that's why she's grown so huge!" Chibiusa said.
"Let me guess. You were going to drink it yourself and grow big after school, weren't you?" Usagi said as she folded her arms with a half smile and half frown.
"Teeheehee! Of course! Growing big and destroying a real city would be so much fun." Chibiusa said. Usagi, meanwhile, just rolled her eyes.
"(sigh) I can tell from all the paper cities you've been crushing lately." Usagi said.
"I think Mama Ikuko's having a lot of fun, if you ask me." Chibiusa said with a smile.
"Maybe so, but this is serious, Chibiusa! She can't go walking around the city like that forever. How is she going to cook dinner for us, for example!?" Usagi said.
"Yeah, you're right. We should shrink her back to normal as soon as possible." Chibiusa said.
"So how are we going to do that?" Usagi asked.
"I've got an idea! I change my Luna Ball into my growth gun, and then I shoot myself to grow big. Then I shoot both of us and we'll shrink back to normal…" Chibiusa said.
"Hold on, hold on. You think she's going to be asking a million questions wondering how YOU grew as well?" Usagi said.
"Well…" Chibiusa said.
"I've got a better idea, but come on, we're about to lose track of her!" Usagi said as she and Chibiusa went back to chasing after their gigantic mother. Along the way, Usagi explained her plan of action to her future daughter.

Meanwhile, Ikuko stopped her walk when she made it to what appeared from the outside to be a fancy restaurant.
"Well, here we are!" Ikuko said.
"Yes, but do you think it's open?" Kenji said, who was sitting on Ikuko's right shoulder again.
"Let’s find out.” Ikuko said. She got down on her knees and then placed her hands on both sides of the roof and used all her strength to pull it off. She managed to do so, setting the roof to her right side onto the road (where nobody was around). Several people looked up and then screamed when they saw the giant Ikuko’s face, with some of them already sprinting for the exits.
“I guess that’s to be expected.” Kenji said.
“Yeah, I’ve already tried to convince them, but they're just too scared." Ikuko said.
Just then, Ikuko felt something crash against one of her knees.

"Oh! What the…?" Ikuko said as she looked down and saw a Hello Kitty themed bus with its front slightly crumpled, indicating the vehicle crashed at Ikuko's left knee (covered by her dress) trying to come to a stop.
"Oh my! That's a school bus, Ikuko." Kenji said.
"Oh! I better make sure all the kids are okay." Ikuko said. She reached down and, with both her hands, lifted up the bus into the air. She peeked inside and saw the kids with many different reactions. Some yelling and screaming, some terrified to do anything, some calling this the coolest thing they've ever seen.
"Shhhh… it's okay, kids. I won't hurt you, I promise. Are you okay?" Ikuko said. She could see some of the kids nodding profoundly.
"I'm so glad to hear it." Ikuko said. She then set the bus down carefully on the ground.
"Go on, and drive carefully." Ikuko said, watching as the bus drove away trying to dodge traffic that was speeding away from the giantess.
"Awww… they all looked so cute. They reminded me of our kids, actually." Ikuko said.
"Ah, yes. Shingo, Usagi, and Chibiusa." Kenji said.
"Maybe we should check on them… see what they think of me being this big." Ikuko said.
"Hey, you're the boss! I think Juuban Junior High is the closest of the schools they go to." Kenji said.
"Wonderful! That will be my next stop, then. Now let's see, if I remember these roads correctly…" Ikuko said. After getting back on her two feet, she turned to the right and once again carefully made her way down the roads making sure not to crush anything.

Not too far away, Usagi and Chibiusa, with Usagi now transformed into Sailor Moon, watched as Ikuko stomped into the distance. Usagi heard her mom say something about heading to Juuban Junior High next, the school that she currently attends.
"Uh oh… if she gets to the school and doesn't see me there…" Usagi said.
"Yeah, I agree, that's why we better start your idea quick! Are you sure this is going to work?" Chibiusa asked.
"Of course! Giant Sailor Moon is precisely what the city needs, and she'll listen to reason just on my words alone. She's a huge fan of Sailor Moon." Usagi said.
"Hehehe… pun intended?" Chibiusa said.
"Ugh… never mind, just hurry and make me bigger!" Usagi said.
"Okay! Kitty Magic! I want my growth gun!" Chibiusa said. As always, Chibiusa bounced her Luna Ball up and down and then threw it up in the air. The ball transformed into an ordinary looking ray gun, but both girls knew one blast from the gun would make them giant sized.
"Okay, Usagi. Ready? Just remember… the increased size wears off after just a few minutes, so make it quick!" Chibiusa asked as she aimed the gun at Usagi. Sailor Moon took a deep breath, knowing that she was growing big only for an important mission and not fun and games like Chibiusa might do if she were gigantic.
"Ready!" Usagi said. Chibiusa pulled the trigger, surrounding Usagi in a blue light. It only took a few seconds for Usagi and the light to grow bigger and bigger.
After about a minute, Usagi (as Sailor Moon) now stood at roughly the same size as her mom. Right away she was fascinated with seeing the city from a different perspective.
"Oh wow… look how teeny tiny everything is. Maybe I'll play with this fine looking gentleman…" Usagi said as she reached down to pick up a panicking man who was running past her red boots.
"Focus, Sailor Moon!!! You're on a time limit!" Chibiusa shouted.
"Right, sorry, sorry… I can't resist just like you! Anyway, run back home so that the next part of the plan can get started." Usagi said.
"Roger! And remember… you have to touch her so she shrinks with you!" Chibiusa said. After her growth gun changed back into the Luna Ball, Chibiusa went running as fast as she could out of the city. Usagi, meanwhile, turned around and clutched her fists as she set her sights on her mother out in the distance.

Ikuko was a few short blocks away, but her size meant the trip took place quickly. She was now towering over Juuban Junior High, with Kenji still sitting on her shoulder.
"Wow! Look at all the students gathering outside the school." Kenji said.
"Heh, yes! It's not often a giant woman comes walking onto their hollowed grounds, after all." Ikuko said.
"How many do you think are pulling out their camera phones by now?" Kenji asked.
"I would hope all of them! I'd love to see what I look like from down there." Ikuko said. She then took Kenji off her shoulder and held him against her chest as she leaned in to take a closer look at the group of students (which included people she recognized like Naru and Umino).
"Hmmm… I don't see Usagi anywhere. At least not yet." Ikuko said as she kept on scanning the ground trying to find her oldest daughter.
Of course, she wasn't going to find her because Usagi was not only behind her at nearly 150 feet tall, but also transformed into Sailor Moon. After taking a few more steps, Usagi finally made herself known after clearing her throat.
"*ahem* Hold it right there, ma'am!" Usagi said. Ikuko quickly turned around when she heard the voice, and that's when she gasped over seeing Sailor Moon almost as tall as she was.

"*gasp* Sailor Moon!?" Ikuko said.
"Wow! I didn't know Sailor Moon could grow big herself!" Kenji said. Usagi looked at her mother's chest area where she saw her father wrapped inside Ikuko's huge hands.
"Heh heh, well, Da… er, I mean… Mr. Tsukino… I have many magic tricks up my… well, sleeve, if I had any." Usagi said. Ikuko then bowed her head.
"Sailor Moon, please forgive me… I'm normally not this big." Ikuko said.
"I know. I'm fully aware of how you grew, Mrs. Tsukino." Usagi said.
"I promise you I did my best not to hurt anyone. If I did, I'm very sorry." Ikuko said.
"Don't you worry. I haven't heard any reports of casualties that were caused directly by you." Usagi said.
"Thank goodness. I mean… I'm having fun being this big, but I would never forgive myself if I had caused anyone great harm… or worse. *gulp*" Ikuko said. Usagi walked up to her mother and patted her on the shoulder.
"I understand. I'll admit being a giantess is loads of fun, especially under the right circumstances. But I must shrink you back to normal before you get caught by any government agencies or things like that. No fun getting poked and prodded as a bunch of geeky scientists find out what made you grow!" Usagi said.
"Ugh… I couldn't agree more! But now that you're here, I am ready to shrink back to normal. You say you can do that?" Ikuko asked.
"Yes, but we must return to your home to do so. Please follow me." Usagi said. The giant Sailor Moon led the way, taking the same approach as Ikuko in following the roads that would lead her back home. As Ikuko followed close behind and put Kenji back on her shoulder, she looked over Sailor Moon's hair style and couldn't help but wonder.
"Hmmm… have you ever noticed Sailor Moon looks a lot like Usagi, honey?" Ikuko said.
"Yeah… probably just a coincidence, though." Kenji said.
"You're right. Klutzy Usagi… as much as I love her, there's no way she could be a superheroine." Ikuko said. Usagi overheard that and couldn't help but silently giggle and smile.

Finally, the two giantesses made it back to where this whole thing started… to what was left of the Tsukino household. Kenji could see the damage from up top because of sitting on Ikuko's shoulder.
"Oh my! Our home!" Kenji said.
"Yeah… sorry, sweetie. That was because I grew inside of it and I couldn't get out in time." Ikuko said.
"But how are we… eeeep!" Kenji said, only to be interrupted as Usagi/Sailor Moon gently picked him up from the shoulder and placed him on the ground.
"Excuse me, Mr. Tsukino, but you better wait down here so that you don't become teeny tiny when your wife and I shrink back to normal." Usagi said.
"And how will you do that?" Ikuko asked.
"Just hold my hands, ma'am. The growth spell should wear out any second, and when I shrink, so will you by touching me." Usagi said.
"Um… Sailor Moon. May I just say?" Ikuko said.
"Yes?" Usagi asked.
"It's been a great honor to meet you in person. Thank you for all you and the other sailor scouts do to protect the city." Ikuko said. Usagi simply smiled.
"My pleasure." Usagi said.

Finally, Usagi's time to be gigantic had run out, and she began to shrink. Like Chibiusa said, the way the spell worked was that anything touching Usagi would shrink as well, and so that included Ikuko. Smaller and smaller the two got until they were both back to their normal size.
"Well, that's that. We're back to normal." Usagi said. Ikuko looked at her house, then the rest of the neighborhood and then the city in the distance.
"Wow… everything looks so different from DOWN here." Ikuko said.
"Honey!" Kenji said as he ran towards Ikuko and embraced her in a hug.
"Oh… sweetie!" Ikuko said. The two traded a quick kiss and Kenji looked down into his wife's eyes.
"Ikuko, don't take this the wrong way, but I'm glad to have you back to your normal size." Kenji said.
"Oh, me too. It was fun while it lasted, but it's good to be back." Ikuko said.
"Mama!" a familiar voice shouted. Ikuko looked behind Sailor Moon and saw Chibiusa running towards them. Chibiusa was holding onto a yellow umbrella with a red swirl pattern on top.
"Chibiusa! What are you doing here? You should be in school!" Ikuko said as she kneeled down and gave the pink-haired girl a hug.
"I was, but it was evacuated when you came stomping by." Chibiusa said.
"Oh… sorry about that!" Ikuko said.

But then her mood changed immediately. When she remembered it was a potion bottle clearly labeled by Chibiusa that made her grow in the first place, she stood up to her full height and folded her arms.
"Chibiusa. You need to tell me right now about that growth potion." Ikuko said.
"Um… okay, Mama, but first, I need you and Dad to hold still." Chibiusa said as she opened up her umbrella. Immediately the red swirl starting moving in a clockwise motion, and both Ikuko and Kenji's eyes swirled right along with it. Usagi transformed back into her normal self as she watched things play out.
"It's working! Right, Chibiusa?" Usagi asked.
"Of course! My hypnotic umbrella has yet to fail… in any time period!" Chibiusa said. After another few seconds, Chibiusa finally folded her umbrella and snapped the two adults out of it. That's when Usagi and Chibiusa both walked towards their parents.

"Oh, Mom! Dad! Thank goodness you're okay!" Usagi said.
"Huh? Usagi? Chibiusa? What are you two doing here?" Kenji asked.
"We managed to evacuate the city after reports of the giant monster came about." Chibiusa said.
"And we got you two out of the house in time!" Usagi said as she pointed back at the ruined Tsukino house that of course was really destroyed by Ikuko's growth spurt.
"Oh my! The monster destroyed our home!?" Ikuko shouted.
"How awful… but at least we are safe and sound since Usagi and Chibiusa say they rescued us." Kenji said.
"Funny, I don't seem to recall that quite clearly for some reason." Ikuko said.
"Oh, that monster was coming quick. We were all moving so fast!" Usagi said.
"Yeah, that must be it. But like I said, it's more important that we're all safe and sound." Kenji said.
"Oh, but what about Shingo and Luna?" Ikuko asked.
"Luna's still with Minako and Artemis, and Shingo is probably still at his school." Usagi said.
"We should head there and pick him up. Usagi, Chibiusa, can you two come with us?" Kenji said.
"Sure, no problem!" Chibiusa said.
"At least the car managed to survive." Ikuko said as she pointed to the station wagon in the driveway that the family normally drove. Usagi then remembered something very important.
"Oh… Mom?" Usagi said.
"Yes, Usagi?" Ikuko asked.
"Happy Mother's Day!!" Usagi shouted.
"Oh! Thank you… I guess I forgot amidst the chaos that today was Mother's Day." Ikuko said with a smile.

The two grownups walked towards the car, and after Usagi and Chibiusa both winked at each other, which was their secret way of saying the plan to shrink Ikuko back to normal and hide the true story from her was successful, the two girls followed from behind and got in the car themselves.
