Coming Out in a Big Way

(Cubed Cinder)

NOTE from author: This is a story involving the relationship between Luna and Sam. If that sort of thing bothers you, then do NOT read this story.

Luna Loud sat back on her bed, staring almost like a zombie at her phone as it continued to ring. Finally, after 5 rings and almost giving up hope, the screen on her phone changed to that of a live image of Sam.
"Hey, Luna!" Sam shouted.
"Yo yo, Sam! I was worried you weren't going to answer for a moment!" Luna said.
"Sorry, just getting ready for our night out. Oooooh… I hope you didn't catch me at a bad time." Sam said as she straightened out some of her hair strands.
"Nah, you'd look totally rockin' in even your pajamas!" Luna said.
"Fortunately we don't have to worry about building a sailboat this time." Sam said with a chuckle, referring back to the Royal Woods Scavenger Hunt when the two worked together there and had numerous conflicts of interest that nearly derailed their relationship. Fortunately it all worked out in the end and the two have grown closer and closer together to the point where they're going out together.

The two chatted for a few more minutes, and among the conversation pieces were…
"Y'know, wouldn't it be cool if there was some big, and I mean BIG, way we can tell the world we like each other?" Sam asked.
"Oh? Define big!" Luna said.
"Heh, I don't know. I'm just dreaming big here. Shoot fireworks that say we're in love. Grow, like, 50 feet tall and walk down the streets like we're homecoming king and queen…" Sam said. That thought really got Luna's mind racing. She pictured it in her mind… her and Sam walking through the city, holding hands, and watching the tiny people by their footwear staring up in awe. She thought deeply about all those monster fighting games she watches Lincoln play all the time… at least until she heard Sam's voice again.
"Hellooooooooo! Earth to Luna! Calling Luna!" Sam said.
"Oh, um… sorry. I was just picturing some of those dreaming big things you were talking about. Yeah, wouldn't that be something!?" Luna said.
"If this were the 23rd century, anyway!" Sam said.
"Well, don't let me slow you down. I'll be at the park waiting for you in about an hour." Luna said.
"Okay. Unless I beat you there first! Hahaha!" Sam said. She then blew a kiss towards Luna, obviously aiming it towards the camera of her own phone.
"Later, girlfriend." Sam said.
"Later, Sam." Luna said as she hung up.

She laid flat on her back in that same bed, looking up at her poster of her favorite rock singer, Mick Swagger.
"Sigh… Mick Swagger likes to go big in his shows. No reason why I shouldn't when I'm out with Sam, but how?" Luna said as she looked over at her guitar, "Playing a song is too cliché. Sigh… think, Luna, think."
The 15-year-old eventually strapped her signature guitar to her back and climbed down from her bed, walking out of her bedroom.

Of course, that meant walking into the chaos that was the hallway that connecting all the bedrooms on the upper floor, and today was no exception with her 9 other sisters and brother Lincoln Loud running in various directions. Once 'traffic' cleared out, Luna made her way downstairs where she saw the two oldest sisters, Lori and Leni, sitting and watching TV.
"Hey, Luna! Ready for your big date with Sam?" Lori asked. Luna cracked a smile briefly, thankful that her older sisters not only knew of her relationship with Sam but were supportive of it as well. Then the smile got wiped off.
"Yeah, but… I kinda wish this weren't an ordinary big date. Even Sam was like wouldn't it be cool if we did something big to announce how much we like each other?" Luna said.
"You should talk to Mayor Davis! She likes to make a spectacle out of everything!" Leni shouted.
"Ummmm… Leni, you better let me handle this. You just keep an eye on the TV and tell me who the Daddy is." Lori said as she got up from the couch.
"Urrrgh… that sounds so weird coming from you." Leni said as she locked her eyes back on the TV. Lori, meanwhile, wrapped an arm around Luna's back.
"Relax, Luna. You'll do just fine. This is your first date with Sam. There's no need to go over the top and try to overimpress her. Take it from me!" Lori said.
"Like when you tried to pass one of Luan's cream pies to Bobby as something you made?" Luna asked.
"Eh heh… yeah, something like that. Anyway, like I said, just be yourself. If you really, REALLY must try and impress Sam, just be your normal self and…" Lori said.
"Lori, here comes the big reveal!" Leni suddenly screamed in the background. Lori broke away from Luna and jumped back on the couch, leaving Luna with a sigh.
"Just another day in the Loud House. I might as well go freshen up for the next 20 or so minutes." Luna said as she walked back upstairs.

After staring at herself on her smartphone (using the inner camera as a mirror), Luna eventually exited her bedroom again. She was about to head downstairs and eventually out of the house to begin her walk to the park, but she still couldn't shake the feeling she wanted to do something big for Sam. So she thought of the one and only person that she felt could help her in such a big way. She walked towards the bedroom door she was looking for and slowly opened it.
"Lisa? Are you in here?" Luna asked. But there was no response, even after she flipped the nearby switch to turn the lights on. In fact, Lisa was not in the room at all. The only person in the room was baby Lily, who giggled happily upon seeing Luna.
"Oh. Hi, Lily. You wouldn't happen to know where Lisa went, would you?" Luna asked.
"Poo poo!" Lily shouted.
"Riiiiiiight. Leni moment right there." Luna said as she shook her head realizing what she was doing. Then she walked over towards the table of potions.
"Hmmmm… let's see. Wow... Lisa sure has a lot of projects. Project Wonder Woman, Project I'll Take the Physical Challenge, Project Pink-Haired One? Huh? This is…?" Luna said as she looked at a glass full of rainbow colored powder. She picked it up and read the label.
"Project Bigfoot? What could this be about?" Luna said.

Before she could ponder any further on the powder, however, she heard Lisa from outside the hallway.
"Luan! Watch where you're throwing that pie! Seriously, I get enough potassium down my throat!" Lisa shouted. Luna gasped as, without thinking rationally, she took some of the rainbow dust and sprinkled it into her hair and tongue.
"Maybe it will make my voice super loud. But just in case…" Luna said to herself as she tucked the Project Bigfoot glass into her shirt. She then ran out of Lisa's room and into the hallway. As she approached the stairwell, she spotted Lisa.
"Oh, hey! Lisa! Wow! Look at the time! I gotta get going and see Sam! Oh, and I think Lily's gotta go poo-poo." Luna said as she tried to deflect suspicion from Lisa that she was in her room. Of course, there was no fooling someone as smart as Lisa… especially as she looked at Luna's hair and saw rainbow dust sprinkling out. Lisa gasped loudly and chased Luna down the stairs. Luna was about to quickly head outside when…
"Luna, WAIT!!!" Lisa shouted.
"Busted…" Luna said as she turned around.
"Luna. You didn't pickup a glass bottle named Project Bigfoot and sprinkle its contents over your head, did you?" Lisa said.
"Er… um… well… you see… um… well… you see… oh spit! What would Mick Swagger do?" Luna said.
"What's Project Bigfoot, Lisa?" Lori asked.
"An experiment I was working on to possibly enlarge living tissue!" Lisa said.
"So you're saying… huh?" Luna said.

But then the teenage girl looked down at her hands as they suddenly grew bigger.
"Uhhh… what's happening?" Luna said as more and more parts of her body became much larger than usual. Eventually the rest of her body caught up, and Luna's quickly growing head slammed against the ceiling.
"Ow!" Luna said as she suddenly had to duck down, but she was running out of room real fast.
"Abandon Loud House!" Lori screamed as she, Leni, and Lisa, and gradually others ran around the growing Luna as pieces of the ceiling rained around her.
Not everyone quickly got the memo, however, as Lincoln was busy practicing to be a superhero judging by the costume he was wearing.
"Now, evil slug alien! Prepare to be slugged by my royal flush!" Lincoln said. Then the young boy watched as his floor rapidly broke apart. He backed away, watching as the enlarging head of Luna was coming right through his room.
"Ummm… hi, Lincoln!" Luna said as she poked one of her arms through and awkwardly waved.
"Wowzers! Luna's finally hit the big time!" Lincoln said, only to suddenly look towards you (the reader), and say, "Great. I've been hanging with Luan for too long."
Lincoln soon realized how much danger he was in, especially as Luna continued to grow bigger and bigger and burst through the ceiling of his room, and so he ran out.

All the Loud children (and pets) were soon out of the house, and they watched as Luna finally burst through the house, continuing to grow and grow. Finally, Luna's growth stopped at a height of just over 80 feet tall with her upper body sticking up through the roof. She looked down at the once mighty tall house and the street in front of said house.
"Whooooooa… I'm ginormous! This is wicked!" Luna said.
"Luna! Down here!" Lori said.
"Oh… hey, guys. Ummm… sorry about the house and all." Luna said.
"Never mind that! Lisa, how are we going to get her back to normal!?" Lori shouted.
"Preferably before Mom and Dad get home!" Lynn said.
"Or we're talking the ultimate timeout!" Luan said, causing everyone, even the giant Luna to groan.
"Well, assuming my lab wasn't destroyed in the wreckage, I can whip up an antidote in a matter of seconds…" Lisa said.
"Uh… maybe you could take your time, Lisa? I think this is rockin'!" Luna said as she went into one of her rock and roll poses, with one of her boots kicking out part of the house on the side.

"In fact… oh man… what would Sam think? I wonder if this stuff would work on her too…" Luna said as she reached into her shirt and pulled out a very tiny bottle of the rainbow dust, which strangely did not grow with her unlike her clothes and the guitar on her back.
"Now, Luna… j-j-j-just wait right there until…!" Lori said.
"Well, I'm off for a biiiiiiiig date! Peace out!" Luna said as she initially tried to carefully lift her legs out of the house, but she ended up clipping the side, bringing that entire part of the house down to the ground.
"Meh, whatever!" Luna said as she casually brushed the debris off her skirt and went marching down the neighborhood with the rest of the Loud family watching gobsmacked, keeping her sights locked in the distance even if a few other neighbors were running and screaming for their lives.
"Oooooookay, so what do we tell Mom and Dad when they get home?" Lincoln asked.
"Easy! A meteor crashed into the house!" Leni shouted. Everyone groaned at Leni's 'brilliance.'
"The apocalypse is upon us." Lucy said in her usual grim manner. Suddenly Lana ran in front of the group holding several different tools.
"Never fear! Lana Loud can fix anything!!!" Lana said as she went charging towards what was left of the house.
"Lana, wait! (sigh)" Lori said as she and the other members of the family went running after Lana.

Meanwhile, Luna finally did pay attention to what was in front of her path, and the 80-foot-tall teenage girl marveled over seeing everything so small.
"Whooooooa… it's like I'm on the biggest Mick Swagger stage ever built." Luna said. In her admiration of seeing the neighborhood so small, she lost her concentration for a split second and felt something go crunch under her boot. She looked underneath it to see it was a parked car with a big bootprint on its roof (and all the windows shattered too).
"Whoops! Sorry! Man, if a car is that easy to crush, I better be careful." Luna said.
The giantess then looked out in the distance where she saw the park, and most importantly, the person she was looking for sitting there.
"Oh? Sam doesn't see me yet. Here's a good chance for me to surprise her. Literally in a big way!" Luna said to herself as she tiptoed her way down the roads.

Indeed, Sam was sitting and fidgeting around on a bench in the park, which was quiet for the evening.
"Hmmm… maybe I came way too early. Or Luna takes her time in getting ready. Where could she be?" Sam asked. She then heard booming sounds nearby, causing her to look up at the clear sky.
"Huh? No clouds in the sky, so where is that thunder coming from?" Sam asked.
"Right here, baby girl." Luna said. Sam whipped her head to the right and looked up and up and up, all the way until she found Luna's face at 80 feet tall.
"YIKES!" Sam shouted as she leapt from the bench and briefly hid behind it.
"L-L-L-Luna?" Sam asked.
"Hahaha! Yep, in the flesh! Lots of it too!" Luna said.
"You're… you're… you're…" Sam said.
"I know, I know. A giantess. The result of an experiment from one of my younger sisters, Lisa." Luna said. Sam slowly walked towards Luna, continued to look all the way up at the smiling giantess.
"Teehee! Here… this way you don't strain your neck!" Luna said as she got down on a knee and lowered a hand down, allowing Sam to walk on. Luna stood back up and held her inches away from her giant face.
"Awwww… you look like a little doll from up here." Luna said.
"And you look… absolutely positively amazing." Sam said.
"Thanks!" Luna said as she lightly stroked Sam's hair, causing her to giggle.
"Oh? Am I tickling you? Tickle torture!" Luna said as she took that same finger and rubbed it up and down Sam's chest and stomach, making her laugh again.
"Okay, okay! Stop it!" Sam shouted.

The young girl smiled as she looked up at Luna's giant face.
"I guess you took me literally when I said we should do something big, but…" Sam said.
"But what?" Luna asked.
"I kinda feel left out. I mean, what am I supposed to do? Ride on your shoulder while you find us a restaurant or movie theater to hang out in?" Sam asked. Luna then smiled greatly, showing off her white teeth.
"Thankfully, it doesn't have to be that way." Luna said. After gently setting Sam back down on the ground, Luna then reached into her shirt and found the bottle of rainbow dust that made her grow. She gently lowered it towards Sam until she finally grabbed it.
"Go ahead. Sprinkle that stuff on your head. No reason it can't work on you." Luna said.
"Ooooookay…" Sam said as she did just that. At first, nothing happened.
"Nothing's happening." Sam said.
"Give it a moment. It took a while for it to kick in on me." Luna said.

Sure enough, Sam suddenly felt her body vibrating from top to bottom, causing her to drop the now empty bottle of Project Bigfoot.
"Ooooooh… what's happening?" Sam said. Luna smiled as she watched Sam's body grow out of proportion at first. Her arms, legs, and head had grown bigger than usual, but the rest of her body and clothes caught up quickly. Luna backed away, watching with great delight as Sam grew bigger and took up more and more space in the park.
Finally, Sam was the same 80 feet tall as her beloved Luna. Sam looked right into Luna's eyes and opened her mouth wide in awe.
"Oh my… I'm… I'm so big." Sam said.
"Yes you are. And more beautiful than any gal I know." Luna said.
"*giggles*" Sam said as the two got closer to each other. Finally they embraced each other in a loving hug that lasted a few seconds.
"It's amazing! I'm looking at you like a normal person, and yet I'm big enough to do this!" Sam said as she walked away from Luna and walked towards a small tree. Sam grunted as she grabbed it with both hands and uprooted it after a firm pull. Most of the leaves fell off from the force of Sam's pull, but she nevertheless showed off the tree to Luna.
"*whistles* You think that's strong? What about this?" Luna said as she walked to the outskirts of the park and picked up a parked car with both her hands. After double checking to make sure nobody was inside, Luna squeezed the car together until it compressed together like an accordion.
"Hahaha! Muscle over mind power, like some of those jocks like to say at the school!" Sam said, with Luna laughing right back at her.

The two got back to standing mere inches apart from each other.
"Soooooo, what now? Do we go around destroying more things?" Sam said.
"Nah. That's an easy way to tick off the police… or the military!" Luna said. She then reached out and gently grabbed Sam by one of her hands.
"What's say we take a walk into the city and admire the view?" Luna asked.
"Hmmmm… okay! I'd say that's an 8 to 9 on the romantic scale. Oh! You know there will be a lot of people looking up at us, right?" Sam said.
"Good. I say let them look." Luna said.
"I couldn't agree more." Sam said. With the two 80-foot-tall giantesses holding hands, they walked out of the park, watching their steps through the rest of the neighborhood as they approached the city in the distance.

As you can well imagine, people stopped whatever they were doing when they first heard the soft booming sounds and felt the ground thumping. Then they gasped or screamed when they saw two giant teenage girls walking out from behind one of the buildings. Luna and Sam were now on the city grounds, looking down at the many people running or driving away from their boots.
"Wow, Luna. Look how small they are!" Sam said.
"Hard to believe we were once their size." Luna said. The two giantesses kept holding hands as they walked further into the city. Sam took note of the many buildings that still towered above them, but that didn't stop her from peeking inside a set of glass windows at a group of shocked people.
"Hi there, little people! Meet my rockin' and rollin' girlfriend!" Sam said as she wrapped her arms around Luna's waist and snuggled against her.
"Heh heh… yep! We're totally for each other!" Luna said. She next looked down by her purple boots where people were running left and right around them.
"I guess not everyone likes the idea of us towering over them." Luna said.
"Yeah… but they'll get over it with time." Sam said. Luna then broke out a smile.
"And if they don't…" Luna said. That's when she raised one of her boots up over a group of screaming people, all holding their arms up hoping somehow they will keep the boot from coming down on them.

Before Luna could do that, though, Sam placed a hand on Luna's shoulder.
"Whoa whoa whoa, Luna! What are you doing!? I don't want to go to jail for stepping on someone!" Sam said.
"Haha! Relax, Sam! I agree with you, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun!" Luna said as she moved her boot away from these people, allowing them to run away into the distance. Sam couldn't help but giggle.
"You're right. Hey… let's not let them off the hook so easily. Come on!" Sam said as she gently grabbed Luna by the hand.
"Oh!" Luna said as the two walked further down the road, slowly chasing numerous people and vehicles. Luna tried to imagine what it must look like from ground level, having two giantesses chasing them and trying to stomp on them. Luna snapped out of it when she heard the sound of something go crunch. She lifted up one of her boots and saw a parked car of which half of it was crunched flat.
"Whoops…" Luna said.
"Don't worry. It looks like nobody was in it." Sam said. She got down on her knees and looked inside the wreckage to make sure nobody was inside (which proved true).

Sam then looked back, smiling as Luna stood over her, and got an idea.
"I'd loooooooove to see what it looks like from down here when you crush a vehicle." Sam said.
"Let me guess. It turns you on?" Luna said. Sam blushed lightly in the face.
"Er… well… maybe not THAT much! But yeah, I would feel a rush of adrenaline watching you powerfully crush a car with those purple boots." Sam said.
"Well then, mate! Find me a car to bloody smash underneath my boots!" Luna shouted in her fake Mick Swagger accent, prompting a giggle from Sam. The giantess then crawled down the road, scanning for another vehicle. She finally found a parked blue car, clipping it with one of her fingers. She moved around so that her eyes were level with that of the car, and then she turned her head to look upward.
"Okay, let 'er rip!" Sam shouted.
"Luna Smash, Ignite!!" Luna shouted as she smiled and then flat out pancaked the car in 3-4 stomps (the bottom of her boot wasn't as wide or long as the car itself, hence the extra stomps). Sam watched with delight as the glass windows shattered, the tires flew off, and metal fragments from the car fell to the ground.
"Wicked!" Sam shouted.
"Haha. Glad you approve, but sharing is caring. I'd like to get that perspective myself." Luna said.
"Hmmm… fair deal. Let's go find another car." Sam said as she got back on her feet and the two giantesses strolled down the road.

It only took them roughly 20 seconds to find another parked car. True to Luna's word, this time it was she who got down on the ground, positioning herself so she was looking all the way up at Sam like she was the only one who grew.
"Ready when you are!" Luna shouted.
"Incoming black boot!" Sam shouted as she raised her leg high and did the same thing as Luna earlier, repeatedly smash the car until there was barely anything left.
"*whistles* Remind me not to get you that mad!" Luna said.

However, as Luna started to get back up, she suddenly found herself pushed back to the ground, backside first, by Sam.
"Oooof!" Luna said as she heard the soft boom from her landing echo into the distance. She then watched as Sam spread both her legs out on both sides of her girlfriend's waist and then got down on her knees, effectively pinning her down. Sam leaned in closer to Luna's shocked face.
"Sam, what are you…" Luna said until Sam put a finger to her mouth.
"Shhhhh… don't talk. I want the next couple minutes to be very special." Sam said.
"Are you saying?" Luna said.
"Yes, Luna. It's time…" Sam said as she leaned in closer and closer to Luna, who couldn't help but blush. But then, Sam broke out a smile.
"…that I tickle tortured you!" Sam shouted as she laid her fingers on the sides of Luna's stomach. Immediately Luna burst out laughing
"Hahahahaha!!! Stop, Sam, that tickles! Hahahaha!!!" Luna said as she kicked her legs around trying to break loose of the struggle, kicking a hole in the nearby building in the process.
"Not until you say uncle! Hahaha!" Sam said with a somewhat devilish smile on her face.
"Okay, okay! Uncle uncle uncle! HAHAHAHA!!!" Luna said as her face beamed with laughter.

Sam finally backed off from the tickling, but still knelt down atop Luna, watching as she went from giggling to breathing quickly.
"I hope you didn't mind. I've always wanted to tickle torture someone." Sam said.
"And to think it only took growing to, like, a hundred feet tall to make that dream come true." Luna said.
"Speaking of dreams coming true…" Sam said as she leaned in again. Luna felt she was serious this time, and with that… the two ladies made a quick pucker of their lips and then planted them on each other. Luna and Sam were kissing, and they had quite the audience watching. Most people, who mere seconds ago were running and screaming for their lives, were incredulous looking up and seeing two giantesses kissing each other. Some tried to unsee what they just saw, while others just looked up like they realized they won the lottery.
Luna and Sam didn't care, however. They just kissed and kissed until about a minute passed, after which Sam pulled away.
"Why did you stop?" Luna asked.
"I don't want to waste it all on one go." Sam said as she finally got up from Luna, holding out a hand to help the other giantess up.
"Yeah, I don't blame you there." Luna said as she was helped back to her feet. She dusted her outfit off of dust and debris and then looked back at Sam.
"So what do you want to do now?" Luna said.
"Maybe there are some cute British guys to play with at Banger's & Mosh?" Sam asked.
"Haha! I like the way you think!" Luna said.
"Not as much as the way I look, right?" Sam said. Luna just giggled as the two giantesses held hands once more and walked down the streets.

Luna and Sam gently walked through the city, making sure not to cause any damage to the nearby buildings or crush any innocent people or cars on their way to the restaurant. On their way there, as they got near the carnival grounds, Sam suddenly felt something strike her in her left foot.
"Ouch!" Sam said as she briefly held her foot and hopped up and down.
"Sam! You alright?" Luna asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. What hit me?" Sam asked. Luna looked down and saw a pickup truck, which had its front smashed in by a few inches. Luna quickly assumed the truck was the thing that slammed into Sam's foot, and it didn't make her happy even though the damage to Sam was minimal. Luna reached down and grabbed the truck with both her hands. She looked inside where she saw three young men all knocked unconscious but slowly coming back to life (two of them obscured by airbags). When the boys looked out the front windshield and saw nothing but Luna's gigantic face, they screamed.
"Hey! Why don't you dum dums watch where you're going!?" Luna shouted. Sam walked alongside Luna and peeked inside the truck as well.
"Awwww… those guys look cute! Maybe we should get their numbers." Sam said.
"Heh heh… I think they're too frightened to be giving us anything, especially if I did this..." Luna said as she moved the truck towards her wide open mouth like it was a hamburger. She could hear the guys screaming louder than ever, and they especially panicked because they were unable to open the doors due to the way Luna was holding the truck.

Sam then gently placed a hand on Luna's wrists.
"Why don't we do something a little less… scary for them." Sam said.
"Oh? Like what?" Luna asked.
"Here, let me." Sam said as she gently pulled the truck out of Luna's hands. She cradled one side of the vehicle against her chest, and then motioned towards Luna.
"Let's give this thing a great big hug!" Sam said.
"Ah, I get it!" Luna said as she walked towards Sam.
"Group hug!" both girls suddenly exclaimed. They giggled as they trapped the truck between both their chests, making sure not to squeeze too tight and possibly crumple the vehicle, which is probably why the men inside were still screaming their heads off.

The giantesses picked up on the screaming and could tell they weren't making the guys feel any better.
"Somehow I don't think they like us too much." Sam said.
"Pfffft… no kidding. They think we're going to boob them to death. Alright, fine. You guys can go." Luna said as she grabbed the truck with her hands and set it back down. Instead of driving off, the three opened the doors and went sprinting down the road.
"And take your stupid truck with you!" Luna shouted as she reared one of her boots back and kicked the truck several yards into the distance. The truck somehow landed atop an apartment building at the end of the road, which Sam whistled over.
"*whistles* Nice kick!" Sam said.
"Heehee… thanks! I bet Lynn would get a kick out of… ooooooooh. I did the Luan thing again." Luna said.
"Maybe it's a good thing you're the giantess and she's not!" Sam said.
"Yeah. Come on, let's keep going towards Banger's & Mosh." Luna said as the giantesses held hands again and walked further into the city.

A couple minutes into their slow walk (to avoid crushing anyone), Luna came to a sudden halt.
"Oh, hey! It's the cool music store!" Luna said.
"Oh yeah! I almost didn't recognize it from this height. Thank goodness for the giant speakers, right?" Sam asked.
"Hmmm… speaking of those giant speakers, I wonder if…" Luna said as she reached into her skirt pocket and pulled out her smartphone.
"Haha! I wonder how big the screen is now?" Sam asked.
"Probably a million inches instead of a meager six!" Luna said. She tapped the screen a few times until she heard a beeping noise from her phone and then a light hissing noise coming from the speakers attached at the top of the establishment.
"Oh? What did you do?" Sam asked.
"I learned this trick from Lisa. The speakers use bluetooth to play their music from inside to outside, so by pairing my phone to the speakers, I can play music from my phone to these speakers." Luna said.
"Wow… that's so cool! So you're saying you can stream one of Mick Swagger's songs from your phone to those big speakers?" Sam asked.
"I could… but I have something different in mind." Luna said.

After making a few more taps on the screen, suddenly a soft song, without any lyrics, started to play. Sam looked confused at first.
"What?" Sam said.
"Please… sit back and enjoy the show. I wanted to do something a little different for our date tonight." Luna said as she put her phone down and unstrapped her signature guitar from her back. Sam literally did just that… after she spotted a building just as tall as she was, she hopped on top of it and treated it like a chair. Meanwhile, she watched as Luna started playing the guitar in tune with the music in the background. Once she felt she was in tune, she started cranking out the lyrics to a song NOT by Mick Swagger for a change (Notbroken by the Goo Goo Dolls to be precise).

All I waited for,
Was a chance to make you understand
And tell you these forgotten truths
You never thought were real
And if the world should turn it's back,
You know that I'm still hereeeeeeeeeee!
Time won't eveeeeeeeeer steal my soul
We're not brooooooooken, so please come home!

Sam gasped at how passionately Luna was singing, and to a song not by Mick Swagger for a change. She couldn't resist rocking both her head and legs to the song as Luna continued to play and a crowd of brave and curious normal-sized people slowly gathered to watch the giantess sing and dance.

Time won't ever steal my soul
We're not broken, so please come home
If the world has worn you down
I'll be waiting, so please come home

Luna took great pride in her singing. She even shed a couple tears as she thought deeply about Sam and the lyrics coming out of her mouth. Eventually the song came to an end, with Luna blasting one last riff just as the speakers from the music store went silent. Sam hopped off the building she was sitting on and approached her girlfriend.
"Luna… that may have been the most pure and passionate I've ever heard you sing." Sam said.
"I did it all for you, my sweet Sam." Luna said as she strapped her guitar back behind her back.
"Awwww… come here, you!" Sam said as she, without hesitation, walked right up to Luna's face and kissed her.
"Mmmm!" Luna moaned as she suddenly felt the need to wrap her arms around Sam. As the two kissed, Sam seemed to be taking the lead as she backed Luna up towards a taller building until pressing her backside against it. The kissing got more intense. Eagle-eyed citizens could at times see the two swishing tongues at each other.
"Mmmmmmm… we're attracting a crowd." Luna said.
"Let them watch." Sam said in a somewhat sexy tone as the smooching and embracing continued. Once again the reaction was mixed from the tiny people watching either on the ground or from adjacent buildings. Some people were in utter shock over what they saw, while others thought it was the sweetest (and/or sexiest) thing they ever saw.
"See, people!? Love is love, no matter who it is!" a woman shouted from one of the apartment buildings.
"Or what size they're at!" a man added from the ground as he hugged his apparent boyfriend.

A couple minutes pass, and the kissing finally stopped.
"Wow… talk about coming out in a big way." Sam gushed.
"Sam, I lo…" Luna started to say, but Sam shushed her girlfriend.
"Wait… do you hear that?" Sam asked as she turned around. Luna looked in the same direction and saw what was distracting Sam.
"Uh oh. Here come the helicopters." Luna said.
"Just like in the movies, right?" Sam said as the two watched the helicopters approach. Quickly, one of them fired its missiles at Sam's nose. The missiles exploded and Sam felt the blow a little bit.
"Ow! Right between the eyes!" Sam said. This really annoyed Luna.
"Oooooooh… you little wankers are going to regret that!" Luna said. She armed herself with her guitar and at first couldn't reach the high flying helicopters, but by using the music store as a building block of sorts, she hopped off the structure and gained just enough height to reach one of the helicopters.
"HAAAA!!!" Luna shouted as she swung her guitar down like an axe. The power of the swing gave one of the helicopters no chance, and it exploded immediately after being sliced in half. Luna went into a victory pose with her guitar (letting out one single riff in the process) as debris from the copter rained down around her.

Sam smiled as she walked up and patted her friend on the shoulder.
"Hahaha… you rocked that chopper, Luna!" Sam shouted.
"And rolled, I take it?" Luna said.
"Yeah, I wouldn't press your luck." Sam said, prompting a giggle from both girls. They then watched as another missile came shooting by, but missed both giantesses.
"We still got one left." Luna said.
"I'll handle this." Sam said. To Luna's confusion at first, Sam swished her tongue around left and right as she built up saliva. Then, after taking a deep breath, Sam shot a spitball out of her mouth. Ordinarily it'd be a small one, but given her increased size, it looked like a solid, gooey ball of liquid that was on its way upward to the helicopter. The spitball splashed all over the helicopter… and all of a sudden, the overhead blades could no longer rotate as they shot sparks and electricity and lost well over half their speed. That was enough to send the helicopter spiraling out of control downward.

Luna and Sam weren't about to be that cruel, however, as the helicopter got close to crashing on top of a row of buildings. That's when Luna stepped forward and caught the chopper with both her hands, giving the soldiers inside a closeup view of first her purple T-shirt (complete with skull) and then her mean looking face.
"That wasn't nice of you boys to shoot at us like that. That's why I'm giving you to the count of 5 to leave your helicopter before we crush it flat." Luna said as she set the copter down to the ground.
"1… 2… 3... 4…" Luna counted as the soldiers scrambled to get out. As they all fled into the distance, Sam walked alongside Luna.
"5!" they both shouted as they jumped high in the air and then slammed their boots down on the copter, crushing it and making it explode in a ball of flames.
"Ooooooh… I felt so… powerful doing that." Sam said.
"Me too! In fact…" Luna said as she looked up at the sky.
"What is it, Luna?" Sam asked.
"Surely they weren't going to just send two choppers after us, were they?" Luna asked.

The two giantesses didn't have to wait long to hear the answer. They both heard chopping noises once again that made them look out in the distance. Two more helicopters were coming, and they had something strapped to both their undersides.
"Is that…" Sam said as her eyes opened wide and had a worried look on her face.
"A nuclear bomb!?" Luna shouted. Indeed, the two giant teenage girls saw what was clearly an atomic bomb strapped underneath.
"Dang… they're serious about wiping us out!" Luna said.
"And, like, half the world with it!" Sam said as the two ladies watched the copters fly higher and higher into the air. Finally, once the copters were high enough and directly overhead the two giantesses, they let go of the bomb, and even being high school students, they knew there was no dodging or sidestepping to avoid taking a hit from a nuclear bomb.
And so Sam tightly hugged Luna and the two looked at each other in the face.
"Luna, no matter what happens from here on out… I love you." Sam said. Luna smiled.
"I love you too." Luna softly said. The two girls took one last look at the falling nuclear bomb, and then they kissed and kissed, even as they and the world around them vaporized.

At least… that's what Luna thought was going to happen.

Because the next time she blinked her eyes, she found herself looking up at her familiar Mick Swagger poster. She rapidly sat up. She was no longer in the city with Sam. She was back to her normal size. The Loud House was normal like nothing had ever happened. That's when Luna breathed a sigh of relief.
"Whew… it was only a dream. I guess I dozed off waiting for Sam to call." Luna said. And speaking of Sam, Luna looked down at her phone and saw 5 different text messages from Sam… all asking where she was.
"Oh SPIT!!!" Luna shouted as she climbed down from her bed and quickly looked over herself at the mirror.
"Luna, what happened!?" Lori shouted. Luna turned around and saw her and Leni, her two older sisters, looking into her room.
"Ugh… Sam's going to be sooooooo mad that I fell asleep just before our date!" Luna said.
"Okay, now, just chill out. You're going to be fine." Lori said as she walked into the bedroom to massage Luna's shoulders.
"Thanks." Luna said.
"So what were you dreaming about? Rocking and rolling with Mick Swagger again?" Leni asked.
"Actually, no. It's too strange, I don't know if I should talk about it." Luna said.
"Awwww… come on! I bet it's stranger than the time I…" Leni said.
"Maybe another time, Leni!" Lori commented.

As the three girls walked out of one of the bedrooms, Luna explained her dream.
"Well, I went into Lisa's laboratory thinking she would have something to make Sam fall head over heels for me. So I find this jar of rainbow dust called Project Bigfoot. I sprinkle it, and the next thing I know, I'm like fee fi fo fum sized. Then I gave Sam that dust… it was just so amazing. I guess it's no surprise I didn't wake up from a dream like that until the Army dropped a nuclear bomb over us." Luna said.
"Fee fi fo fum sized?" Lori asked.
"Nuclear bob-omb!?" Leni shouted.
"Well then, Leni. I guess your dream's been overtaken for strangest." Lori said.
"Darn it! I'll have to dream twice as hard tonight!" Leni said, prompting a giggle from all three girls as they headed downstairs, where Luna eventually left the house to go on her big (not literally this time) date with Sam.

One Loud who heard the conversation and wasn't laughing was Lisa. In fact, she gasped upon hearing the words Project Bigfoot. She darted back into her bedroom and ran to her table full of jars. She looked around and breathed a sigh of relief that her Project Bigfoot jar was still full of the rainbow-colored dust.
"Whew… thank the cosmic powers that be you're safe, Project Bigfoot. Still, how could Luna have known I was working on such a concoction… and more importantly the effect I'm trying to attain?" Lisa said. The child prodigy shook her head and straightened out her glasses.
"It doesn't matter. I have to continue experimenting with this dust someday. Once I've gotten it to function on living matter, the entire city shall no longer look down on me… mwahahahaha!" Lisa said. She wanted to laugh a little more, but was interrupted when she heard…
"Poo poo!" Lily shouted. Lisa sighed and stuck her head out her bedroom door.
"Lincoln! Dirty Lily alert!!!" Lisa shouted. She quickly went back into her lab desk just as her lone brother of the entire house, Lincoln, could be heard moaning and groaning down the hall.
