By the time he's down to doll size, Anna feels the only way he can stay safe is by keeping him in an old dollhouse she had stored in her bedroom. Of course, they don't believe her at first, but they do agree to follow Fawn to where she found the city. The five fairies immediately take back their skepticism as they are in awe over how small the city is (as Tink notes, the smallest building doesn't rise past her ankles). The girls ponder what to do with this discovery going forward, but when they see some of the awful things go on in the city, such as pollution from factories, industrialization, crime, and resulting poverty... it touches a nerve in Tink that makes her feel this entire city and everyone in it should cease to exist, with the other five fairies agreeing.
