Keepsake

Tomoyo patiently waited for her best friend, Sakura, to come down the stairs. With Sakura's father and brother once again out of town, she was asked to come over and help make the day go by. Of course, Tomoyo was a girl of many talents. Fashion designer, singer, choreographer, toy tester (thanks to her mother, Sonomi), and video recorder. She was also quite good at getting Sakura to do what she would like. Earlier that day, Tomoyo used the old 'please do it for me' trick to get Sakura to change into one of the clothes she had made.
"Please, Sakura? Just put these clothes on for me? As a friend?" Tomoyo said.
"Alright, alright. Just give me a moment." Sakura said.

Eventually, Sakura came down the stairs in just the outfit she wanted to see. Sakura's hair was topped off with a pink bow, and she was wearing the blue/white dress that looked like it came from Alice in Wonderland. Topping it all off were the blue slippers, giving her the same look from that one episode where she captured the Little card. Sakura sighed as she faced Tomoyo, who looked just as pretty in her all-white dress (and bare feet).
"Really, Tomoyo. Why do I have to wear this outfit?" Sakura asked. Tomoyo smiled.
"Because I'd love to see the little Sakura again!" Tomoyo said.
"What!? You mean you want me to use the Little card to shrink myself?" Sakura asked. Tomoyo nodded.
"Exactly! I hope you don't mind... I mean, I only got to see the tiny you for maybe a few seconds that day. I saw you giant-sized for a long period of time... but now I want to see you small." Tomoyo said. Sakura rolled her eyes very briefly. She knew this would somehow be connected to that one night where she grew to giant size to stop that dragon made by the Create card. Tomoyo would always talk about to her best friend how much it meant to her to witness such an event. Sakura sighed as she pulled the Little card out from one of the dress pockets.
"Well, I don't have any reasons to refuse your request. I'll do it." Sakura said.
"Thank you, Sakura!" Tomoyo said.
Sakura then threw the Little card in the air and drew her key.
"Little card! For my best friend, Tomoyo, reduce me to the size she desires!" Sakura shouted before slamming the card with the wand. The energy came flying out of the card and swirled around Sakura. Eventually, she started shrinking. Tomoyo watched with great delight as her friend got smaller and smaller. When Sakura was just over half her original height, she put her secret plan to use.
"Please forgive me, Sakura." Tomoyo said. She then thrust her arms forward and knocked Sakura down to the floor. Obviously, the move was such a shock to Sakura that she dropped her shrinking wand in the process.
"Hey!" Sakura shouted as she hit the floor. She laid down on the floor, continuing to shrink until she was only about two inches tall.

Tomoyo smiled as she looked down at the tiny Sakura, along with the shrunken wand. Eventually, Sakura rolled back to a sitting position, still a little dazed over the shove to the floor.
"Ow... what the..." Sakura said. She finally looked up at the giant Tomoyo, who got down on her knees and looked closely at her friend.
"Oh, Sakura... you are so cute now! And as I seem to recall, if you lose your staff while shrinking, you also lose your magic powers." Tomoyo said. She then reached down and picked up Sakura's wand, and as it went up into the air, Sakura suddenly became very nervous.
"T-Tomoyo... what are you doing!?" Sakura shouted. Tomoyo then walked over to a nearby box that sat on one of the tables, opening it up as she approached it.
"I'm only placing your key in this box. Just as a precaution!" Tomoyo said. She put the wand inside the box and then closed it. Next, she walked right back over towards Sakura. Seeing her standing at full height made Sakura sweat... Tomoyo looked huge from where she was at!
"After all, we don't want you recovering your powers too soon, right?" Tomoyo said.
"Tomoyo... you're scaring me!" Sakura shouted.
"Don't worry, Sakura." Tomoyo said.
"Eeeeeeek!!!" Sakura shouted as she tried to run away, but Tomoyo was just too quick, and she scooped up Sakura. Tomoyo raised her hand up to chest level and looked squarely at Sakura, who laid down on the palm of Tomoyo's hand.
"I will take good care of you. Forever!" Tomoyo said with a big grin on her face.
"*gulp*" Sakura said. Tomoyo then gripped Sakura just enough so she couldn't fall, and then she walked up the stairs, presumably heading for Sakura's own room.

Inside Sakura's room, Tomoyo sat down on Sakura's bed and looked down upon her friend.
"Tomoyo, please... you can't keep me like this!" Sakura shouted.
"Maybe not, but I just can't help it. I'm holding the best friend I'ver ever had in my hands. That makes me feel special." Tomoyo said.
"Yeah, I guess it does..." Sakura said.
"Don't be scared. You know I will protect you." Tomoyo said. She then cradled Sakura against her face, pressing her against the many layers of skin.
"Owww! Not too hard, Tomoyo!" Sakura shouted.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Please forgive me..." Tomoyo said.
"I know. It's just... I'm quite fragile being this small. You just gotta be careful, that's all." Sakura said.
"Don't worry. I'll be like an angel from here on out." Tomoyo said.
"That's reassuring of you." Sakura said. Tomoyo smiled.
"So, I wonder what I can do with you first? Wait right here!" Tomoyo said as she gently placed Sakura down on her own bed. Tomoyo got up and walked towards Sakura's closet.
"Where would I go?" Sakura asked herself as she watched Tomoyo open up the closet. She scanned it from top to bottom. Most of what she saw were clothes, either old ones or outfits made by Tomoyo. But there was one item

"Huh? A dollhouse?" Tomoyo said. Sakura watched as her best friend gently pulled the old dollhouse out of the closet.
"Oh, that old thing. I haven't touched that in years." Sakura said. And she was right as Tomoyo could see the dust that had been collecting onto the object. After pulling it close to Sakura's bed, Tomoyo blew some of the dust off, getting some of it on Sakura as she coughed it out.
"Oh! I'm so sorry, Sakura. I'll be more careful..." Tomoyo said.
"Right... no problem, really." Sakura said. Tomoyo then studied the dollhouse, noting some of the items inside.
"Hmmm... there are some doll clothes. Perfect for you, Sakura! Hmmm... but I don't see any dolls here." Tomoyo said.
"I don't know where I put them... or if I even still have them!" Sakura said.
"Awww, too bad. I was hoping we could play Romeo & Juliet, or something like that... where you could be a beautiful princess trying to rescue a lovely prince." Tomoyo said. Sakura just smiled.
"There's no end to your imagination, Tomoyo." Sakura said.
"Oh, but you should try some of these clothes!" Tomoyo said. She then picked up Sakura and placed her in the bedroom of this dollhouse, right next to the many doll clothes.
"Hey, Sakura. I'd like to see you in some of these clothes!" Tomoyo said.
"Huh? Well, okay..." Sakura said. She took one of the outfits, a rather ordinary looking red dress, and then walked behind a nearby screen. Tomoyo watched as the Alice outfit was placed on top of the screen, and eventually, Sakura stepped out in the long red dress.
"Wow! You look fabulous... like a movie star!" Tomoyo said.
"Thank you." Sakura said.
"Wait right there! I gotta film this!" Tomoyo said. As Sakura watched Tomoyo walk out of her own room, no doubt to get her video camera, Sakura just sighed.
"This could be a long day." Sakura said.

A couple minutes later, Tomoyo showed up with video camera in hand. Sakura simply watched as Tomoyo got the device rolling. As Tomoyo pointed the camera at the dressed up Sakura, she began making up the words for her video diary entry.
"Yes, this is my good friend, Sakura. And she is inside this ordinary-looking house. Of course, there is one big difference... literally, at that! My good friend, Sakura, has used the Little card, making her no bigger than any of my fingers. Look!" Tomoyo said as she stretched out a finger from her free hand and held it side-by-side with the shrunken Sakura. She then used that same finger to tickle Sakura in the chest. Sakura fell back as she held her chest, but she also laughed.
"Hahahaha! Tomoyo, that tickles!!" Sakura shouted.
"Oops, sorry! Anyway, she looks very fabulous in this long red dress. She's like a movie star, aren't you?" Tomoyo said.
"Well, I guess so. Even though this dress isn't made from real fabric." Sakura said, feeling the dress knowing that it didn't compare to Tomoyo's outfits. Tomoyo then held a hand in front of Sakura, allowing her to step onto it.
"So, Sakura, do you have anything to say about your new size?" Tomoyo asked.
"Um... I wish I were big again?" Sakura said. Tomoyo just laughed.
"Don't worry. You will be soon, when I feel it is time." Tomoyo said. Sakura then felt her stomach rumbling a bit.
"Um... Tomoyo. I am kinda hungry." Sakura said.
"Oh... it must be lunch time. And so ends this entry of my video diary." Tomoyo said. She then shut off her video camera and put it on Sakura's bed.
"I'll just leave my camera here for now. Okay, let's go to your kitchen!" Tomoyo said. Clutching Sakura in her hands, she headed downstairs.

Tomoyo successfully made it to the kitchen, and once there, she placed Sakura on one of the countertops. There was plenty of room for Sakura to move around, and the laminate was smooth underneath her feet. Tomoyo opened up the fridge.
"So what do you have, Sakura?" Tomoyo said.
"Well, there should be some leftover noodles on one of the shelves! I know you like those!" Sakura said, having to raise her voice so that Tomoyo could hear her over the low humming of the refrigerator.
"I see them!" Tomoyo said as she gently lifted the bowl of noodles. She placed it in a nearby microwave, allowing the food to heat up for a couple minutes. Once the heating was done, Tomoyo very quickly took the bowl and placed it on the same countertop that Sakura was standing on.
"Tomoyo, are you alright? You didn't get burned, did you?" Sakura asked.
"No, I'm okay. I know I shouldn't do that... I guess I was very hungry too!" Tomoyo said.
"Don't forget the chopsticks!" Sakura said.
"Yes, of course. We can't have instant noodles without them, can we?" Tomoyo said. Just like that, she pulled a pair of chopsticks out from one of the drawers. She then looked at them before looking at Sakura again. She quickly realized how much of a problem Sakura was going to have holding those chopsticks. She probably couldn't even use them as batons, she thought.

"Hmmm... how am I going to feed you, Sakura?" Tomoyo said.
"Well, you could just leave one noodle on this countertop, and I could eat with my bare hands." Sakura said.
"Oh my... that's not mining your manners." Tomoyo said.
"I know, but I've... I've... uh... I've seen Meilin do it!" Sakura said.
"Yes, Meilin can be different sometimes. Okay then!" Tomoyo said. With one of the chopsticks, she took a noodle and placed it down near Sakura. As promised, she took the similarly-sized noodle and dug into it, holding it with her bare hands. After putting the noodle down, Sakura shook some of the water off.
"Still a little wet!" Sakura said.
"But I'm glad you are finding a way to eat. It must be hard being that small." Tomoyo said, as she was eating her noodles like any well-mannered girl would.
"You have no idea..." Sakura said.
"You know, speaking of Meilin, we should bring Li over!" Tomoyo said. Sakura vigorously shook her head.
"Oh no! No no no no!! I don't want him to see me like this!" Sakura said.
"Why not? Didn't you dream of being in Li's hands one night?" Tomoyo said.
"Actually, I said I had him in MY hands during this one dream." Sakura said.
"Oh, I guess I misheard you. Please forgive me, Sakura..." Tomoyo said.
"Oh, Tomoyo. Even when you're my guardian angel, you're still apologizing for the smallest of things. But that's what I like about you." Sakura said.
"Really? Thank you, Sakura. That's so sweet of you." Tomoyo said.

A couple minutes later, Sakura had completely eaten up her lone noodle while Tomoyo had cleared out her bowl full of them. She rubbed her stomach, something which Sakura clearly saw.
"Mmmm... that was very good." Tomoyo said.
"I wouldn't want to be inside that stomach. With all those noodles you ate, I mean." Sakura said. Tomoyo smiled.
"Oh, don't worry, Sakura. I wouldn't do that ever." Tomoyo said.
"Good. Actually, I am kinda thirsty now." Sakura said.
"Hmmm..." Tomoyo said. She looked down at her empty bowl, and then put it inside the sink to wash it out. She took a nearby cloth to wipe out the remains of the noodles. It only took a few seconds before the bowl was sparkly clean once more. Then she took a nearby glass cup and filled it up with the tap water. When it was almost full, she placed the cup next to Sakura. The cup was easily twice the height of Sakura herself.
"Here you go. One cup of water to go!" Tomoyo said.
"Huh? How am I supposed to drink out of this?" Sakura asked.
"Well, let's try this way." Tomoyo said. She gently dipped her finger into the water and then moved it out and to the right, towards Sakura. She let a single drop of the water land on the countertop, next to Sakura.
"Maybe this'll be enough." Tomoyo said.
"Okay..." Sakura said. She got down on her knees and tried to lick up the drop of water. She got some of it onto her tongue and down her mouth, but she stuck her tongue out.
"What's wrong, Sakura?" Tomoyo said.
"No... it doesn't taste quite right. I mean, it's not the same as pouring water down your mouth. What was it we learned in Science class? There's substantally more volume in a cup of water versus a teaspoon?" Sakura said.
"Yes, you're right. Hey, I got a better idea!" Tomoyo said. She thought about what Sakura said of how a drop of water couldn't compare to a full cup, and suddenly came up with an idea. She reached down and picked up Sakura and then dangled her over the cup of water.

"What... Tomoyo... what are you doing!?" Sakura said.
"You said it wasn't the same as having a mouth full of water, right? Well, here you go!" Tomoyo said. She then let go of Sakura as she dove down into the glass cup.
"Ahhhh!!!" Sakura said. It only took two seconds for Sakura hit the water. She was under it for a brief amount of time, coming straight up and gasping for air. The red dress she was wearing was drenched at this point, like any fabric would. Sakura, as she was kicking her legs to keep herself afloat, looked up at Tomoyo.
"There you go! Is that enough water for you?" Tomoyo asked.
"Tomoyo, you're crazy!!! But... this is better than one little drop, right?" Sakura said.
"At least I don't have any ice in that water." Tomoyo said.
"Yeah... but it's still kinda cold!" Sakura said.
"Oops... I'm sorry, Sakura." Tomoyo said, getting back into typical apologizing mode. Sakura, meanwhile, was lapping up as much of the water as she could in her mouth.
"Mmmm... this is not bad." Sakura said with a smile. Tomoyo was happy to see Sakura enjoying herself. She watched for another minute or two as Sakura was both swimming in the cool water as well as sipping it up.

"Tomoyo! I think I've had enough now!" Sakura said.
"Okay. Hold still while I pull you out..." Tomoyo said. She reached inside the glass and pulled Sakura out as she and her dress were dripping with water.
"Oh my, you're so wet, Sakura. We gotta dry you off somehow!" Tomoyo said.
"Well, I'm sure the towels in the bathroom will do just fine." Sakura said.
"No... I want to keep you close to me. I just feel that way..." Tomoyo said. She then placed Sakura up against her chest, slowly rubbing her hands up and down Sakura's body.
"Ack! Tomoyo! Aren't you afraid you'll ruin your own dress?" Sakura asked.
"I don't care. Just as long as you are around me." Tomoyo said. She said it rather softly too, and Sakura could tell not just from the low voice, but from the heartbeat as well.
"Tomoyo... your heart." Sakura said.
"Yes... does it calm you, Sakura? Does it make you feel better knowing I care so much for you no matter what size you are at?" Tomoyo said.
"Yes, it does." Sakura said.
"It's like I'm holding a bird... lost from it's home. Waiting for its mother to return." Tomoyo said. She opened her mouth and took a deep breath.
"Tomoyo?" Sakura said, looking up while comfortably in Tomoyo's grip. Tomoyo then opened her mouth and...

Tomoyo then looked down at Sakura and smiled. Sakura smiled back at her.
"Tomoyo... that was beautiful." Sakura said.
"All thanks to that Song card you captured a while back." Tomoyo said.
"I'm so glad it has helped you." Sakura said. Tomoyo quickly thought of what she could do next, mostly a way to see if Sakura was as alert as she always is as a CardCaptor.
"Sakura, you trust me, right?" Tomoyo asked.
"Yes, why?" Sakura asked. Right when she finished that, Tomoyo suddenly let go of Sakura! The young girl screamed for her life as she plummeted slowly down for the wood floor.
"Aaaaaah!!!" Sakura screamed. Of course, Tomoyo had no intention of letting her friend meet such a fate. So when Sakura was about ten yards away from hitting the floor, Tomoyo kneeled down and put a hand underneath Sakura, allowing her to land safely in her palm. Tomoyo giggled a bit as she got back up to her full height, looking down at Sakura.
"Hehe... caught you off guard, didn't I?" Tomoyo said.
"Yes... yes you did." Sakura said.
"I'm sorry if I really scared you. I don't know what came over me to do that." Tomoyo said.
"No, it's okay, Tomoyo. It helps to loosen up once in a while, right?" Sakura said.
"Yes, I guess you are right!" Tomoyo said.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Tomoyo looked towards the front door.
"Hmmm? I wonder who that is?" Tomoyo said.
"It could be my father..." Sakura said.
"Wait here. I'll go see." Tomoyo said. She first placed Sakura on a nearby table, the same one with the box that had her wand, in fact. She probably didn't have the strength to open the box, however. So she sat tight, waiting to see who would be at the front door.
Tomoyo was at the front door and opened it slowly. She was a bit surprised to see it was her mother, Sonomi Daidōji.
"Mother!?" Tomoyo said.
"Oh! Hello, my dear Tomoyo. I thought you might be here with Sakura." Sonomi said.
"You did?" Tomoyo said.
"Yep. When you're not home, you're likely with your very best friend." Sonomi said.
"So what are you doing here?" Tomoyo asked.
"Well, I need you to come home. I need my #1 prototype tester for a new toy we just finished." Sonomi said. Of course, by we, Sonomi was referring to her toy company, which has earned her millions and millions of yen. Tomoyo was always the first one to test any toys out to make sure they held up to her tough standards.
"Oh, okay! Can I just get my things from Sakura's room?" Tomoyo said.
"Of course!" Sonomi said as she watched Tomoyo turn around and run towards the stairs. Sonomi, meanwhile, walked inside the house and closed the door behind her. Thinking she wasn't going to be home for long, she kept her shoes on.

As Sakura rested next to the box on the table, she immediately recognized the other voice from the front door to be Tomoyo's mother, Sonomi.
"Oh... Tomoyo's mother." Sakura said. She watched as Tomoyo ran by and went up the stairs, no doubt to get her belongings.
"Wait, Tomoyo!" Sakura said, not wanting Tomoyo to forget about her. The next sounds that Sakura heard were the clicking of high-heeled shoes on the wooden floor. Sakura looked and could see Sonomi entering the living room.
"Oh my gosh... Mrs. Daidōji looks so big from down here." Sakura said. Sonomi eventually walked over to the nearby couch and sat down, making herself comfortable. Seeing her so close made Sakura realize something important, and she gasped when she thought of it.
"*gasp* She's gonna see me! Unless I sit perfectly still and... well, and act like the doll that Tomoyo dressed me up as." Sakura said. So she decided to lay down, spreading her arms and legs out. She hoped this would convince Sonomi and that she wouldn't suspect a thing.

Of course, acting like a doll doesn't mean you're invisible from view! ^_____^

After looking around the room for a little bit, Sonomi focused her attention on the nearby table, and that's when she got her first glimpse at the tiny Sakura.
"Huh? What's this?" Sonomi said as she reached over and picked up Sakura. Sakura tried her best to keep herself still, even as Sonomi wrapped her long fingers around her.
"Hmmm... this doll. It looks like Sakura. It's so real..." Sonomi said. She then tugged on Sakura's right arm. It was a very hard tug at the size she was at, so Sakura had to break her silence to register the pain she was feeling.
"Ow!!!!!!" Sakura shouted as she rubbed her right arm. Sonomi gasped at the same time, almost dropping Sakura from the palm of her hand.
"Wow... maybe too real! This doll can feel pain... amazing!" Sonomi said in a bit of excitement, but that quickly faded away when she realized one thing.
"Wait a minute... we haven't invented any dolls this real. And this can't be from the competition..." Sonomi said. As she looked over Sakura some more, and as the tiny girl was starting to sweat wondering what would happen to her next, Tomoyo came down the stairs, with a little purse hanging from her shoulder, and rejoined her mother in the living room.

"Okay, Mom. I'm ready." Tomoyo said.
"Oh, good. Good... listen, Tomoyo. This is an amazing doll here. Where did you find this?" Sonomi said as she showed the two-inch-tall Sakura Kinomoto to Tomoyo. Tomoyo let out a light gasp as she started to sweat a little and her eyes closed up a bit.
"Um... well... actually... I..." Tomoyo said.
"Tomoyo, you have to tell her the truth!" Sakura shouted.
"What!? This doll knows your name? What kind of technology is in this little one?" Sonomi said.
"Mom... that's not really a doll. That's Sakura." Tomoyo said.
"Huh? Now, Tomoyo, don't be playing games with me. Sakura can't possibly be this small." Sonomi said.
"It's true, Mom. Sakura shrunk herself because I asked her too." Tomoyo said. Sonomi could see it in her daughter's eyes. She wouldn't dare lie like this, she always thought. She must've been telling the truth. She made sure by holding the tiny Sakura in front of her face.
"Sakura... is that really you?" Sonomi said.
"Yes, Mrs. Daidōji. It's me. I... am a CardCaptor." Sakura said.
"A what?" Sonomi asked.
"It's kind of a long story. Please let me explain." Sakura said. With the secret now reaching out to Tomoyo's mother, she proceeded to tell of her adventures from the beginning.

It took almost a few minutes, but Sakura was finally done explaining the story. She was standing on Sonomi's lap as she was sitting down on the couch, with Tomoyo sitting alongside.
"And that's the story. Mrs. Daidōji. You must think I'm a freak now." Sakura said. Sonomi, however, simply smiled.
"Actually, Sakura, it doesn't surprise me at all." Sonomi said.
"Huh?" Sakura asked.
"Your mother once told me when we were alone in the park one night. She looked up at a full moon and said to me that one day, you would be a special girl. You would have power and talent like no other little girl would ever have." Sonomi said.
"She... she said that about me?" Sakura said. Sonomi nodded.
"This was when you weren't even born yet. She felt that strongly about you, and I guess it's her wishes that has made you what you are today." Sonomi said.
"I... I... I don't know what to say." Sakura said.
"Don't worry about it. So I guess one of these powers you have as a so-called CardCaptor is you can shrink?" Sonomi said.
"Yep. I could grow also, but I'm very careful about using all my cards. I shrunk today because, well... Tomoyo was kinda fascinated with seeing me small. This was after she only saw the little me for a few seconds after trying to capture the Little card. So... I just couldn't say no to her, and here I am." Sakura said. As soon as Sonomi turned her attention over to Tomoyo, she once again profoundly apologized.

"Mother, I'm so sorry. I was going to let Sakura grow back to normal soon. Honest... I just wanted to play with her for a little while." Tomoyo said.
"I'm not angry with you, Tomoyo, don't worry. But you really need to let Sakura live her life the way she wants to. You shouldn't have to beg her to do something you want, especially when she is this small. Being that small could be very dangerous... she could be stepped on after all!" Sonomi said.
"Yes, I understand. But isn't that what friends are for?" Tomoyo said.
"Friends are there for you when nobody else can be there. You should keep them close to you, but not that close. And as Sakura said, she uses her powers responsibly. I think we should give her a chance to do that." Sonomi said. Tomoyo let out a smile.
"Okay. Thank you, Mom, for not being mad with me." Tomoyo said. Sonomi smiled back and patted her daughter on the head.
"Anything for my little angel." Sonomi said.
"Yes. She treated me like a little angel myself." Sakura said.
"That's good. Now, we better get going, Tomoyo. I don't want to keep my clients waiting any longer." Sonomi said.
"Okay, just let me give Sakura her key back." Tomoyo said. She leaned forward and opened up the box that she had sealed the wand in. Naturally, since it shrunk with Sakura, she would be able to wield it easily.
"Tomoyo, don't forget the Little card itself in the bedroom!" Sakura shouted.
"Okay!" Tomoyo said as she turned around and ran up the stairs. Sonomi took Sakura in her hands and stood up, waiting for Tomoyo to return.

Eventually, everything was set. Sakura stood on top of the Little card, which was laying down face up on the floor. Tomoyo and Sonomi stood back while they watched Sakura work her magic.
"I can't wait to see Sakura pull this off. This is my first time seeing her as a CardCaptor." Sonomi said.
"You're right, Mom. You'll be amazed... watch a master-in-training do her thing!" Tomoyo said. Sakura held her wand high in the air.
"Little card! Reverse effect!" Sakura shouted. After twirling her wand around, she slammed down on the card, or at least what little she could of it. Nevertheless, the magic came flying out and swirled around Sakura like a whirlwind. Sakura then slowly grew bigger, until she (and her red dress) was back to her normal size. When the growing stopped, Tomoyo ran towards her friend and gave her a big hug.
"Oh, Sakura! I'm so glad you're back to normal size!" Tomoyo said.
"And a couple hours ago, you were glad I was teeny tiny!" Sakura said. Tomoyo just laughed it off.
"Well, I couldn't help myself!" Tomoyo said. Sakura then looked over at Sonomi.
"So... what did you think, Mrs. Daidōji?" Sakura asked.
"I think your mother would be very proud." Sonomi said.
"Thank you... just don't tell anyone, if you would please?" Sakura said.
"Your secret is safe with my family, Sakura." Sonomi said.
"Thank you." Sakura said.
"And look... the red dress from the dollhouse grew too! You got a new outfit out of all this." Tomoyo said.
"Well, thanks... but I like your outfits the best." Sakura said.
"Awwww... that's so sweet of you." Tomoyo said.

"Listen, we better get going, Tomoyo. Would you like to join us, Sakura?" Sonomi said.
"Well... no thank you. I think I've spent enough time with Tomoyo. More than enough, if you think about it." Sakura said.
"It's okay, Sakura. I understand." Tomoyo said.
"Great!" Sakura said. As Tomoyo and Sonomi headed out the front door, Sakura wished her well until the next time they would see each other.
"Bye, Tomoyo! See you next time!" Sakura said.
"Okay! Maybe next time you can show Mom some more of your cards." Tomoyo said. As they headed out the front door, Sakura could only say one thing.
"Yeah... maybe." Sakura said.

She then picked up the Little card from the floor.
"Well, time to put these things away... if Kero's not sleeping and blocking the book at the same time again." Sakura said as she made her way to the library where the Clow Card book was contained. She would sometimes wonder, even after putting the card away and eventually having a conversation with Kero... what else would Tomoyo have done with her little self had there been more play time? Sakura would never know, and maybe it was best to keep it that way.
